In fact, a recent USGS study found the phenomenon in virtually every watershed in the country. And it's and not just bass. Some carp, catfish and sturgeon have the same odd make-up.

When this was first reported three years ago it was just in a couple of rivers. Now it seems to have spread everywhere. Will this problem eventually spread to humans? What would that mean and what changes would occur if any?

God only knows, but this could be the entire reason I'm trans, I've drank Mississippi water all my life as well as my Mom & Dad.

I've read a few articles on this recently and has affected fish, frogs and even Polar Bears. Is there a potential for more Intersex and rluctant trans people in the future? What about infertility? That this has affected other species could indeed be a warning sign for us in the very near future.

This isn't good. This means potential health problems for everyone. Malformed vital organs, deadly diseases, etc. could result.

If it wasn't such a serious problem I could make a joke explaining that now I understand my friend Lizzy, but it is serious and everyone should be concerned the implications are very serious and we can only hope that Nature is able to outperform man's messing around and find a way.

A way to continue a species that is devoid of males and that we can contain it before it spreads to humans, while I am at peace with being trans it is not something that I would wish on someone else, it has taken me over fifty years to accept and actually feel good about my female nature.

Maybe things like this will serve to wake up a few people and we can do something about it.

If this trend continues, all upper life forms will perish. To have fish, mammals, reptiles, even humans all one gender will result in the apocalyptic scenario of "last generation" when no other generations are possible.

Hmmm, sounds like class-action lawsuit possibilities here! Covered corrective procedures, and reimbursements for everyone that previously were forced to pursue their own destinys without help. All that, while suffering from public ignorance, disdain, discriminatory abandonment, and hate. Don't forget punitive penalties. That'll help cover a new wardrobe! Of course, with civilization facing doom through modern chemicals, we, as usual, will be buried in the collateral damage. Literally.
