Athens Boy Choir

This is one of the few hip-hop artists I can tolerate. Athens Boy Choir is a transgender solo project by Katz. It has some great songs. Here is a really great song by him:

I am not a fan of hip-hop or spoken word/rap performers, but Katz just might force me to reshape that opinion... As someone who lived out a childhood in the Deep South, I admire his bravery and courage to incorporate his transidentity in a visible (VERY visible!) way, and, though as you said, the poetics might be questionable at times, the lyrics are so catchy.

I think it is great that an FTM transartist is becoming visible, and, hey *cough*, he's incredibly cute. x.x
