Facial Hair And Hormones

YMMV too much of what we rely on depends on our internal wiring,

and we don't know how we are wired until we start HRT

When we start HRT we are usually told that it will do nothing for facial hair. It might be just me, I would be interested in the experiences of other women who are in the 4th through 8th month of HRT and who haven't done laser or electro. I am noticing that the longer I am on hormones the slower my beard is growing and the more patchy it is. I have lost most of the hair in the sideburn area, my mustache takes two days to have any noticeable growth and my shadow area is getting much the same way. After 12 to 14 hours I can frequently feel the stubble but cannot see it, to me this is all good; anyone else care to share?

My strong theory is that HRT should reduce facial hair since it seems to reduce other body hair in most individuals I've heard. Of course, most people who start HRT also start going out more en femme and don't want to have to deal with that unwanted facial hair. I'll more than luckily be starting hormones before I can afford laser hair removal, so I'll let you know how it goes in time.

I am in the same boat as you, cant afford laser or electro right now, but like I said about me, it has lessened the hair remarkably. After 36 hours I have the stubble that I used to have after 8 hours and its only on my mustache and shadow areas.

i thought it was just me my facial hair has slowly thinned out i use to have a really good beard or so i was told (yuk).

i have being on hormones for 13 months.
