Hello Sweethearts,

What do you think of the cogaiti test. Every time I take it ends up at 300, give or take.

Do you think this is an accurate test, or are their better ones.

These tests are fun and can give you a peek into your self....

But, no one should take them too seriously.....especially in place of a Gender therapist!

Also, these tests can be manipulated to get the score that you want...

After I took it the first time I understood how the answers work and based on male/female stereotypes.

So, it was easy for me to show as 99% female on the next run through....

Don't put too much into them hon......OK?

The thing about these tests are that they stereotype women and what their reactions will be. Not all women react the same way to the questions they ask on these tests. Sometimes TS's take this test to find out if they truly are TS. But the only true way to know that is answer is to look into your heart, to know what you feel, and to accept those feelings. If one can't do that or are still uncertain then a tg therapist can help you discover those answers for yourself. And they will tell you that there is no test that can tell you if you are or aren't. Truth is even they can't tell you 100% that you are, they can only tell you what they think from the info you give them. And they can help you look at a broader perspective of yourself. So I don't put any value on these tests at all. My test is in how I feel when I look in a mirror when I am all decked out and how I truly feel inwardly. And I know I am 100 percent female although my bodily apperance disagrees......Huggsss...Katrina

I have taken this test twice and can confidently say it is probably one of the LEAST ACCURATE tests I've ever taken. The questions are solely biased to MtF's and reinforce female stereotypes that have no scientific basis at all. In order to match the perfect criteria of transsexual (based on the test), you'd have to be a walking stereotype that is nothing like a real woman.

I agree with you 100%. The answers are usually phrased badly as well, with a ridiculous amount of uncertainty. "Maybe I might think that I would feel like this. Maybe." Sometimes two different answers were exactly the same, but phrased in such a way that it wasn't obvious. Very scientific

I think I wanted to confirm my feelings, but I did try to be as honest as I could taking the test. Katrina said look at your reflection, and you will know. The first time I seen my reflection decked out with full makeup, my smile was one of such extreme joy, I will never forget that moment. Seeing my self as a girl convinced me with no doubt that I am female inside. From that moment on I knew what direction I was heading for. It so affected me , I think I started the process. My waist went from 36 to 28, and I felt like a little girl first realizing her femininity, trying to learn everything about it.

I can't wait to show all of you that smile, to see if you see it to.

These tests are rubbish.. I'm a qualified (degree level) psychologist.. I can answer in a way that can be 100% one way.. 100% the other way.. or just about any variable in between..

How many of the multiple answers did not actually say what you would answer presented with the question and an open reply possibility?.. 75% or so I would guess.

They are fun.. if you read them carefully even untrained.. you will see the appropriate answer for the result you desire.
