Aaahhhh! Scared!

Im going back to school after being gone for over a year to finish my VCE (pretty much finish the last 2 years of high school) and this is a completly new school... no one at all will know me. So even MORE different from my old school is the fact that im going to be going as myself, as the boy i used to be is long dead to me.

All the teachers will be informed as to make roll call easyer (as my name isnt legally changed yet) but none of the students (cept one other girl who is like me that i volunteered to help out) will have a clue. unless i make the mistake of slipping up. and im terrified coz my voice is FAR from perfect. I can pass for small conversations lasting up to about 15 minutes tops but after that my voice starts to become relaxed and i start to sound like a guy again. This is gonna make it REALLY hard for me! How do i make new friends if i cant talk long enough to get them to like them? how do i give presentations if i cant talk all the way through? ARGH! Im terrified! Im gonna go, meet all these people and they will all think im a freaky... freak

The school has already offered me all of its services if i need them should things get messy or if i need to talk to someone but how are they gonna stop people from avoiding me or thinking im a perv? It seems alot of people who arnt educated about us just thinks were perverts who get a thrill out of dressing as girls or boys (depending on the case)

ARGH... stressing out >_< its 2 am so forgive me

Ashlee, that's wonderful news, honey. The school admin seems very supportive and that's a big help.

Like Donna Jean said, try to relax and be positive. Its going to be OK. You're going to do just fine.

The more you use your femme voice, the more you will get used to using it and the easier it will become. Pretty soon using anything else will

seem unnatural to you. You're a lovely girl and won't have any trouble passing.

I think that you will do just fine if you let yourself.

Relax and then you will just be you, and that should be good enough for anyone.

I think you underestimate your voice - 15 minutes should be long enough to do any presentation.
