I just wanted to take a moment to say hello. For the last few months I've been looking for the right place to engage in intelligent discussion and share some of my personal experiences living as a TG person. Lately, I've jumped from site to site trying to find the right place for me, so hopefully this is it.

As for me I'm a 35 year old Male-to-Female transgendered individual, happily attached to a wonderful and very supportive woman. We share everything and hide nothing from one another, and that's as I feel it should be for us to thrive.

That's all for now I suppose. I wish all who are reading here the best, and I'll see you here in the forums.

Hello, Sweet....

How are you today? Welcome to the Playground!

Hey, I'm Donna Jean and I'm in Ohio, too....down around Cambridge!

So, let me make you comfortable....

Here is a nice hot cup of coco and some of Sally's fresh baked cookies... (May I have one?)

There is no calories in virtual cookies!

Now sit back and relax, Hon....

And if you haven't already, could you take a minute to look at the forum rules? There is a link at the top of most pages. Oh, and our site is moderated to keep it nice and safe for everyone!

Kick off your shoes and get comfy, Honey...it's really wonderful to have you !

HUGGS!

Hi, Sweet, and welcome to the Playground.

This is a pretty good place to have a conversation, as lots of us like to talk (OK, truth is lots of us won't

shut up. LOL) So you have plenty of good company.

If you haven't seen all the forums, please do look around. You're welcome to post in any, but in the Teen Forum

only the teens can start a topic. The Chat Rooms are excellent and exciting too, if that's your thing.

I look forward to reading your posts.

Hello Sweet,

I see you have already gotten some of the cocoa and cookies - did Donna Jean leave enough for you?

We are friendly and love to talk as to the intelligent conversations some would say to avoid talking to me!

I am surrounded by a cocoon of trivia - music literature and mostly movies and TV.

Seriously this is a great place for discussions and we have forums set up for so many things so please do look around.

Welcome to the family.

Love ya,

Sally

Hi Sweet,

<<hug>>

Welcome to Laura's Playground.

Please feel free to come over and chat sometime.

The Chat room does require another registration that is separate from from your forums one.

Please read the chat room rules before coming in, and expect a short interview with one of the chat room moderators.

One of the things that they will ask you is if you read the rules. :)

We have MTF meetings-Mon & Sat 9pm est, and you are welcome to attend.

We all look forward to seeing you.

Hi Sweet!

Glad to have you here. I've found this is an outstanding place for discussion simply because everyone here is so wonderfully reasonable about the discourse. There is a lack of nastiness which is really refreshing. Welcome!

Welcome to Laura's Playground! This is the friendliest forum I have ever been to. This place is so close knit it's like a family. So I hope you enjoy being on this forum.

Good morning   weii I’ve read some good news here this morning    Yes the ancient Roman symbol was used on some coins. The Mercury dime come to mind. It was showing our fighting might.  Arrows and a fighting axe.  I realize few people recall the Mercury dime.  My 6th grade swore there was no such thing so I brought him one.  He had promised a dollar if I could prove it which I did. Then he tried to Welch on the bet. The entire class got on him and he had to give me the dollar.  Ah, the little things we still remember from over 60 years ago.  Like today as a i was cutting a banana for my cereal I recalled my grandfather doing the same for me about 70+ years ago.   well instead of a 9 hour day I have an 8 hour day scheduled then there is that stay a little longer to do X.

Good news is that I have nothing serious going on. The blood was coming from internal hemorrhoids, and the doctor says it's from the "typical American diet." Too much fat and carbs but not enough plant based fiber. A few other things were noted and biopsies on them for safety sake.    Hospital visit was grand with "most" of the staff addressing me as female. I did have "bra talk" with one of the CNA's. Even my discharged papers use my preferred name on them (Birdie).   So basically, adding more fiber to my diet will eliminate my internal hemorrhoids as well as lower my risk for cancer.
