Aside from that neanderthal, two-caterpillars-kissing look?

All the guys I know just don't do anything to their eyebrows--so the fuzzy caterpillars are free to roam their foreheads happily :P---and before my mom made me start plucking mine mine were pretty bad too.

Obivously really clean, highly-arched eyebrows are feminine--but there's got a be a nice in the middle area between that and caveman eyebrows--right?

I don't wanna just let my eyebrows go back to what they were prior to any plucking on my part (even when I did they were still pretty thick with only minimal arches) but I don't wanna have girly looking eyebrows either.

So guys....where the heck is the middle ground on this one??? Right now I'm still going for clean shapes but thick with no arch...sorta straight---but I dunno.

Keeping 'em clean can't hurt, but otherwise don't pluck.

I wish I had eyebrows. The little eyebrow hair I do have is very pale, so it looks like I don't have anything there.

Good-o, I'd been meaning to post a thread about this for ages, my eyebrows aren't so much Neanderthal as utterly Cro-Magnon. They don't quite meet in the middle (except for the odd invisible hair or three), but they creep half-way down my eyelids and everything, quite charming caterpillars they are, yet I haven't wanted to pluck them 'cause that just makes them look all girly. I was kind of sick of being furrier than necessary, but as I say, furry > feminine.

Thanks SamIThinkIAm, I is Sam :-) and sphere!!! ^_^

Weird reply from a MTF

When I was doing my own eyebrows (I since have had electrolysis) I sometimes would 'overdo them.' So them when I had to present male they were too girly.

Lick your finger, run against the grain! They muss up and look masculine.

Grin - never thought I would post THAT information!

Lizzy

OH yes - masculine - "wire-like - unrully - all over the place!" If I was FTM - I would NEVER pluck a single hair! But I am not FTM - whew! You guys have it as bad as we do - just the other direction!

Another trick from theater - to look like you have stubble - and if you have ANY pores on your face - brush stipple a little charcoal black make-up into them. or (GOD FORBID) a little mascara. Especially do the moustache area. All men have a moustache shadow - even we few who have hardly any beard (when I was male).

WHAT AM I DOING HERE!

Go back LIZZY - here lurks testosterone!!!

Pluck, but don't super over do it. Just do it enough so you don't look like Jack McCoy. You're rather lucky actually. I have the opposite problem in that my eyes are naturally very feminine looking.

Lizzy I am an FTM---not a neanderthal :P I pluck a little---but only because I'd look like a caveman without it and I don't want that---I'm a pretty boy

But as far as mascara oh heck no :P!!!

Thanks for the tips though in terms of creating stubble--although I'm acne-prone so I dunno how it'll work out. As far as the moustache :D I gots me a lil baby stache and I'm verra proud of the lil guy :) considering I got the wrong hormones coursing in this body right now :(

Praised---man sometimes I wonder about this old bod of mine and what's the deal with it. If I hadn't had genetic testing run on me as a child I'd swear I had something other than XX---I mean---I got big bones, coarse dark hair *everywhere*, deep voice and naturally prominent muscles/muscles that bulk up easy. I can't wait to see how happy it's gonna be on T....

Don't sweat your eyebrows though---I'd say you're lucky? Why? You on T---a nicely furry guy--not too hairy but not feminely naked. Me on T? ABSOLUTE BEAST. Lol--everything has it's upsides and downsides.

Avoid the unibrow. It's not attractive on anyone, really. I've only plucked the really long ones (TMI? Perhaps). Otherwise, let them do what they do. I have a guy friend who is a total metrosexual and he gets his waxed. It's a brave new world of hair care and beauty for men (hence, Dove has a line of male soap products and the onslaught of manscaping razor products...some genius finally realized that they can make a lot of money convincing men to go hairless and care about their skin).

Good luck!

I have Italian thick brows, that, well, almost kinda come in to the middle like a Neanderthal XD but I am too lazy to make it look 'nice.' I think eyebrow-wise, plucking is awriite so long as it's not like... Celebrity wax!style. Manscaping--not just for pansies. For anyone who takes pride in their looks, so long as you can own up to it, it's cool in my book.

yeah pretty much just keep them neatly trimmed and only pluck out any stray hairs

yessum! this would work best, ik im MTF but before i was out to people i was a very neatly trimmed boy! lol i'm too much of a baby to pluck them myself, but i would have a friend just take care of anything out of place, and (this next little piece of advice is for any other MTF who at first thought this was about femme eyebrows :P) the process made me feel more girly even if it didnt show

hugs, Nikki

I'm the same (estradiol, no blockers) and for me, after 4 years, T levels naturally *decreased*. I'm at E&T levels of a postmenopausal woman.   Astrid

Revealed: the super-rich fascist Maga lobbying group who is brain-washing the far-right policies of Trump and other Republicans.   Documents show the Conservative Partnership Institute is pushing its far-right agenda at events involving GOP members. A powerful, right-wing lobbying group is promoting a hard-right policy agenda and cementing ties between the Republican party and the far right at at least 21 events involving senators, members of Congress, and both junior and senior political aides. The documents offer previously unreported details of Conservative Partnership Institute (CPI). In 2021, the former congressman and Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows joined CPI. Both Meadows and Mitchell were at the center of Trump’s efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Meadows was indicted in Georgia in August.    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/may/23/conservative-partnership-institute-republican-laws

As a side question, when you start E (I'm only doing E. no blockers), does T fight back? (Insert "Empire Strikes Back" theme music here, lol)   For awhile, things downstairs seemed very subdued. This week, not so much. Kind of like back to pre-E days. Just curious.   Did labs yesterday so that should tell me something when I get results...

Welcome Bobbi!  I hope you enjoy the forums and find them helpful.  There are lots of lovely people on here.  I'm a late in life trans woman just getting started myself.

Had a very nice day yesterday.  It was certainly worth the drive.   Something interesting to me.  We went out to a restaurant after the regular meeting.  After the meal we were getting ready to leave.  I had an hour and a half drive ahead of me, and had drunk a good bit of tea.  I'm kinda careful where I use a restroom, and this place was full of people.  I asked one of the other girls (who all live there) if I might get in trouble.  (They all know where I live)  She just looked at me and said "This is Asheville."   I realized how nice it is to live in a place where you are not always looking over your shoulder, wondering if something is going to happen. It was a good day.

Yeah.  A surprising number of us are veterans.  I was a little surprised myself when I realized it.

I joined as Charlie as i left Chuck (Charles) behind.  My wife suggested Charlize as i started to make the necessary legal changes.  I don't turn my head anymore when someone says Chuck.  It took time but when the name fit it became me.   Hugs,   Charlize

Good to read your post @Kylie.   March 2024 is not so long ago,  but a couple months can be such a difference.   What a relief.    Your responses to some of my posts the past couple years helped me to believe in success beyond obstacles.    And  helped me get through my own multiple bottom surgery situation.  Happy that you are officially done😊

Good morning everyone,    I hope you have a wonderful day today. I’m living the puppy life mass energy followed up with a nap. Just when I think he has this potty training down, he relieves himself in the laundry room. We’re slowly introducing him to the other dogs in the neighborhood, with good results so far.    Enjoy,    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
