My Wifes Surprise

Well, this weekend my wife got another surprise from me. I have been painting my toenails for several months now and just waiting for the right time to let my wife see them. I am always up early and dressed (in male mode mostly) befrore my wife gets up. This Saturday, my wife decided she wanted to know what I was hiding and why I always was dressed when she got up. I was in the shower and was almost done when she came in and stayed. I got done and just stayed in the shower for about 15 additional minutes wondering when she would go out so I could get out and get dressed. I asked her, are you almost done? She said she was putting on her make up. I knew she would be in there for a while so I waited and waited and finaly decided it was time she saw my hot pink toenails. So I opened the shower door and grabbed a towel and she turned and said, I know what you have been hiding now. She said , why are your toenails painted pink? I said, they are painted because I like them that way and besides you know how I am anyway ( she knows I am transgender). She was not happy but I sure was. No more havuing to hide my nail polish and my pretty pink toenails. She did not say any more about it the rest of the day so I took that as a good sign. I know she doesn't like it but at least she is not nagging.

Gee hun , I hope your wife comes around to you re being Trans.

Its an issue I rarely think about as I have lived alone for a while now (too long)

I have been readind your posts and it is obvious your being as diplomatic as you

can . Take hope from others here in the same position as you , seemingly if you

That is good news Daphene. At least you don't have to hide anymore.

I am in the same boat as you were. I don't let my wife see my toenails. She knows I go to get manicures and pedicures but does not know that I have my toenails painted. I am just waiting for the day she notices.

It's so good to get past these things...

I've done things inch by inch so my wife can accept them...

She knows that I do my toe nails now and has known for a while...

While we watch TV on Sunday nights I do my nails and we are now way past the point of it being a problem.

So, your wife may not be that happy about it right now, at least now it's out in the open.

Well I can understand that it is something that would take a wife a while to get used to but i don't have that problem for two reasons - my wife left long before that and my toes are too far away from these 58 year old eyes - I will have to have someone else paint them if I want them to look good.

I hope that she can accept this little step and let you enjoy your pink toenails.
