Hi Everyone!

I'm glad to have found this website and forum! Over the last few years I've been through some pretty serious gender discrimination and I'm having some problems with depression and anxiety, so hopefully I can talk about things here and maybe resolve some of my issues so I can can get back on my feet again and try and salvage what's left of my positive attitude towards life!

I'm female, I was intersexed and raised sometimes as a girl and sometimes as a boy, but mostly a boy, especially when I got older in my teens, my Mother was really strict and religious so I had a pretty hard time and had to take care of my own surgery dealing with my physically ambiguous gender problems once I got old enough and had the means to do so, it was pretty tricky too considering I've lived most of my life below the poverty level but I did manage to get my surgery and get just ONE gender on my birth certificate and all my legal documents corrected too, but due to a LOT of harrassment, not because of the way I look, probably more my attitude and people knowing my history and telling strangers about it, I've been accused of being a crossdresser and being called a 'Sweetie' even though I could never pass as a male and even though I usually only wear jeans and a top....it's not like I saunter(sp?) around ina southern belle outfit or anything, I totally look, sound and act female naturally, my body shape is female and I've always sounded female in person and on the phone and other things, basically I've never passed as a male when my Mother was forcing me to growing up so I had to learn some survival skills so I wouldn't get picked on all the time so I sort of learned how to be a bit aggressive in certain situations and, of course, because of that certain people said I acted like a 'guy'!

Oh, I could go on and on about this. My hopes for joining this forum is mostly to find some help because right now and for the past few years I've fealt really messed up and confused and I'm kind of a 'shut in' right now because of all the anxiety and harassment I've been through.

I'd prefer not to use my real name here because I had a sort of local media career going a few years ago and wan to pursue that agin if I can get passed my current problems I'm having, so you can just call me 'B' if you want instead of 'Boudica', either one is fine...I watched a show on the history channel about 'Boudica', she was a female celtic warrioress and she was really strong and lead her people and I really admire her so that's why I chose that nickname here!

Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your onine community here, I could sure use the help right now in the hopes of not feeling so isolated as I've ben for sometime except for my mister (we're not legally married, although we could get married since he's a male on his birth certificate and I'm a female on mine and there aren't any laws against a man and a woman getting married, but there are reasons from his side that it wouldn't be such a good idea but as far as I'm concerned he's my husband, but legally, we're pretty much 'commonlaw married)

anyways, hi to everyone and thanks for accepting me into your community! I'm really looking forward to being involved here! :)

Hello there and welcome...of course you can feel free to express yourself here...we are all friends...at least that is what I gathered when I joined.

Have you thought about relocating to another area...one that perhaps does not know of your past and such..and just start over? Its a shame to even have to think about it...but sometimes its just better to walk away and start anew...

Nick~

I took an involuntary swim wearing my quick dry hiking pants and shirt. Lifejacket not shown but present on the rock I am sitting on. Watson is dry now but I am still soaked. I capsized my kayak 5 feet from the shore trying to land on an island. Water in the pond was surprisingly warm considering it is early may in upstate New York.

@Birdie best of luck to you, my friend.   @MaeBe, nothing ventured, nothing gained! Good luck!

Oh I will. He loves to just sleep on the couch and sleep. Not very active at all which I'm mixed about. Less to do but also want him to do more too.

We had a German Shepheard/Lab cross! It was actually our son's dog but when he moved out, Axel stayed here. ❤️ He was soooo awesome! Totally goofy, but really smart, and a million percent lovable. Unfortunately, he didn't even get to see his fifth birthday. 😢 He did both hind knees in quick succession, which were repaired, but he re-injured one and it wasn't repairable. The grief we went through after we made that horrible decision was far worse than anything we have ever experienced before or after.    @Ashley0616, please be gentle with his joints until he is all grown up!   This pic is when he was still a puppy.

When things seemed really rocky with my wife. I had thought about moving to the PNW. WA and OR are quite LGBTQ friendly. Even interviewed for a couple jobs there.   Hugs, Kymmie

Friday night was pizza night, which is actually pretty routine here.    Tonight was a bit of a seafood fry-up. Crumbed flathead tails pan fried, crumbed scallops and chips (fries) deep fried, and a salad.   Tomorrow night will be junk food at a football game.

I was admitted upstairs for observation. The nurse last night took one look at me and said, "we need to use a FEMALE external catheter on you."   They placed a PureWick catheter over me and it's working great. If there isn't anything to connect a male catheter to it just isn't going to work.   So far I haven't passed more blood, and my abdomen does feel better. A specialist is supposed to see me today and perhaps order a colonoscopy to find out where all the blood came from.
