Spazzing A Bit...

ok, so im at work whatever.. reading forums (which is all i do in my spare time now) and..

well i know what i feel and i personally want the outside to match the inside. im currently looking for a gender therapist - preferrably one covered by my health insurance. and im reading along and i start to panic a bit thinking... well what about finding a job.

see i currently work for a temp agency and i know i wont have to stay at this job for too long..but what about when i go out to get another job - a job in my field of expertise. what if im RLTing and someone wants to see my degree which very plainly in really nice writing says [insert rae's birth name here]... or something/ANYTHING like that !

ok.. so yeah im jumping the gun a bit here im sure.. but i just thought id jump the gun to YOU guys and not keep it in MY head so as not to explode or anything. <pant pant pant>

You can get all of your documents changed toa new name, certificates included. I did my first degree in my old name, and the uni changed it instantly the second I changed my name. They were very happy to do it for me. Don't worry about anything like that.

I know in Georgia you have to appear before a judge to get the legal name change. I am pretty sure after that the Uni. will change it!

now i can obsess over some more immediate things like finding a gender therapist i can afford. id written to a doctor and funny enough he just directed me back to the doctor listed on this site for Georgia .. Ms. Erhardt - i wrote her an email...we'll see.

for any other Georgians near the city of Atlanta, im supposed to be attending a support group put on by a group called TILTT on thursday. im excited but still really nervous . my S.O. is so supportive..she even offerred to come with. im so confused about how i feel about certain stuff lately that im not even sure if that puts me at ease or just makes me more anxious. im sure itll be good for both of us, but like i said.. im nervous . and i cant figure out if im nervous cause of her being here or cause of the questions im sure shell feel compelled to ask me when we get home.

Ahh I wish I was closer to ATL before I leave ><. I was going to go see Ms. Erhardt, I heard she is one of the best in the South East. Oh well, stickin with the free help from GSU here! Haha! That is awesome your SO is supportive, that is something that is very rare I think. Cherish it, you are blessed!
