Three Monthes

Hello Ladies;

/HUGS to all.

Going to appologize first for the rambling that is about to follow.

Well, so far three monthes have seen to just fly by. I have not really noticed much in changes lately.

Just that my girls are slowly coming along. Just wished they would catch up to each other. The left side really started taking a very nice round shape and is filling in rather nicely. IT looks like the right side is about a month behind the right.

After work last Wednesday I stopped at a club on base to see a friend, she also knows everything. When I sat down she comes over and tells me that she can see the girls bouncing as I walked in. Was wearing a UT t-shirt, not my normal work shirt. I think I may have turned a little red at that comment. She then asked what size shirts I wear and I told her, she also told me that she had noticed the other day that my Polo shirts are starting to get tighter in the chest area. Actually several of the girls that know about me have all said about the samething, with reguards to my shirts.

I have also started to notice that my male pants are not fitting like they use to. I do not like wearing them except for work. My GF also noticed and commented on my backside. She said it was getting a little bigger and starting to round out.

When I am at home and when I go out on the weekends I wear womens jeans, shoes and some jewelery now. Still wear mens shirts though, unless I am at home then I wear my various tops.

I need to really start watching my diet and start working out more then I currently am. Eating four to five times a day, even snacking on fruit I am starting to gain weight again. Would like to drop back another 10 pounds by the middle of May. That is when I am going to take a three week vacation and go back to Texas and talk to my Mother and my Sister. Neither of them know about my transition, so I have decided that it is time to talk to them about it.

Val, has not been seen out in public yet so I am planing on May 17th to be that day.

Saturday the 15th I will be piercing my ears, and spending the day at the SPA.

The 16th I am scheduling a waxing session to remove that hair that I cannot shave myself. I will also be getting my eyebrows waxed, so I can start shaping them.

Monday the 17th, I have scheduled an appointment at the beauty salon for a manicure, pedicure and a makeover. After lunch I have my regular two week appointment with my Endo for my estrogen shots. I will be going to that session as Valerie for the first time.

Now, if I can survive another 2 and a half weeks of PowerPoint training ( Powerpoint Poisoning is what we call it) at work, then Valerie will meet my Mother and my Sister in May.

/HUGS

Thank you lovely ladies for all your kind words and support.

Love

Valerie

Valerie,

I will be joining you on vacation figuratively speaking. The middle of May is when I plan to go home for a week and tell my parents and sister. How are you dealing with the anxiety if you have any? My heart is racing just reading this post and realizing how close it is getting!

Congras on al the changes ;-)

Thanks Donna and Emily.

I am not feeling much anxiety about the trip, well okay maybe a little. I am mostly a little worried about how my mother will take it, she is 70 now. Not relly worried much about my sister, it has been over 20 years since I have last seen her. She lives in Florida and I have been in Hawaii for almost 19 years.

I have talked to my sister on the phone a couple of weeks ago and told her a litle bit. I asked her how she felt about loosing a brother and gaining an older sister. Basically her reply was if that is what will make you happy then she says she can support it.

This may have also played a part in my moods earlier this week. I was soo upset, angry, PO'd and feeling hurt that I almost accidently came out to one of my bosses. All I said after several hours of feeling this way and her asking me what was wrong and if she could help, I told her that I can not talk to her or my big boss until after I talked to the HR office. That was on Monday, I found out that morning that the last 2 week training coarse I had to complete for my final qualification as Chief Test Engineer - Weapons, was canceled because the person giving the training was not ready. I was so upset that I had almost started crying right there. Then it happened again, when I start to feel that emotional I get really angry, think this from so many years of hiding those emotions.

Tuesday morning I went to wrok wearing one of my T-shirts, with the saying "If you don't like my attitude, then stop talking to me". I got alot of looks during the day from almost everyone I came across. It was not until after lunch that I calmed down enough to realize, how tight the shirt was across my chest. It was showing the girls off rather nicely. However, no one said anything about seeing them.

The next couple of days at work I really paid more attention to what I was wearing and what was showing. I finally came to the realization that I will have to start wearing sports bras everyday at work now, to help cover the girls.

I plan to show off Valerie as much as I cxan when I am at home. Will talk to and see my half-sister and alot of friends I went to school with. So, hopefully all wil work out.

/HUGS

Love to you all.

Talk about having a lot on ones plate! Whew! Coming out to family, ears pierced, eyebrows done, facials, mani/pedi, woo hoo!

Going to need a private secretary, girl!

I'm very impressed with your progress, and your decisiveness. I wish you well with your family, and hope things work out well at work, too.

Another success story. :) I do so love reading them.

Only three, maybe four, sections even mention transgender.  Most is a conservative agenda I have no problem with.   In the sections that mention transgender, there are very few lines.  Those lines ARE problematic, in every case. Unequivocally.  I can't see some of them standing up in court.  In one case a recommended policy goes against a court decision, which strongly suggests the implementation of that policy would be stopped in court.    Anyone maintaining that this is written simply to support Trump, to support him becoming a dictator, to crush transgender people is feeding you a line.  Nor is it an attempt to erase transgender people.   People will have to decide if the overall goals are worth the few problematic statements.  Overall, I support it.  Of course, I have some reservations.

It is unfamiliar, therefore threatening.   For 90% or so of the population, gender id can be simply and quickly determined by a quick anatomical observation.  They have no understanding and cannot imagine what it would mean to have a body different from the id.  It is unimaginable.  Therefore, wrong.   So there is this strong headwind.   I haven't entered this discussion, but here is a script: A: I can't imagine what it must be to have TG. B: You're a man, right? A: Well, of course. "amused" B: Imagine you were required by law and custom to wear women's clothing all the time. A: It wouldn't happen. B: Okay, but for the sake of the argument... A: That would be disgusting.  I would be very uncomfortable. B: You have it.  That is what TG people go through all the time. 24-7-365. A: Really? B: And then they are told they are perverts for having those feelings.  The same you just described. A: I see. B: And someone comes along and tells you you need conversion therapy so you will be comfortable wearing women's clothing all the time. A: I think I would break his nose. B: You understand transgender folk better than you think.

I have found some people correlate TG = child predator ... just as some have correlated homosexual = child predator...    I am baffled by the TG = unsafe connection ... my wife tends to think this way, that this is all about sexual deviancy ... I try to ask how my preference for wearing frilly socks with embroidered flowers and a comfortable camisole under my lavender T-shirts is sexually deviant (or sexual anything) but I don't get very far...

Best wishes to you as you take this step ... many blessings to you!

Not sure.  The perp is a minor.  The problem here is NOT transgender, the problem here is incompetent and criminal administration.  See https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/family-of-loudoun-co-student-sexually-assaulted-ineptitude-of-all-involved-is-staggering/3231725/ It is more than annoying that people think the problem here is TG and that other people think the solution is some stupid statewide law.  Like an appendectomy to deal with an ingrown toe nail.    Since Loudon, I recall a boy was asked not to use the girl's restroom at a high school by one of the girls.  He, overwhelming her with height and weight,  assaulted her, claiming he had a right to be there.   Later I think eight girls beat him severely in another girl's restroom.  Again the problem is not transgender, the problem is assaults in restrooms and common courtesy.  TG is used as a smokescreen and it seems to paralyze thought among administrators who do not want to do anything to provoke controversy.

Time to get with your Primary Care doctor and be referred to a neurologist or an orthopedist.  It could be many things, too many for any of us here to guess at.

Other than the Boy Scout motto, oath, and law. I use two:   When asked how I'm doing? In all honesty I reply. I would have to make something up to complain. If asked to explain further: I reply. I know someone is having a tougher time than I am, and I pray God blesses them.   I also recite this quote that I have tagged in my signature: Courage, doesn't always roar. Sometimes it's the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."-Unknown    Saying these things daily keep me motivated.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

If this goes on, I am conceding the real possibility of being stopped in WM or somewhere by a concerned citizen who tells me, "Lady, God made you female.  I don't think you should be trying to look like a man. You need to return to your true gender and be comfortable living your life out as a woman."   Begin odd and awkward conversation.  I have been thinking about this this morning.

There are many MAGA GOP types who are not transphobes, of course. Some MAGA GOP types are transgender.

I'm hoping to read the next section today.  Many of the reforms they are calling for are good, such as expediting the military procurement process, and have nothing to do with transgender issues.

Good afternoon,    I have a young friend who is vegetarian and married to a full on meat eater. They have two areas of their grill clearly designated for their different cooking requirements. When she’s cooking she uses tongs or chopsticks to handle any meats. When he’s cooking he respects her request not to cook her meals on the side where meat has been. They get along fine and respect each other.    When she attends our house, she usually brings her own food, but knows I will clean my grill to meet her requirements. We love and respect her commitment to be vegetarian. I love that she trusts me to make her comfortable when visiting us. There are ways to make it work.    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
