I can't listen to Jeff Buckley at all without crying. His voice was so hauntingly beautiful and we lost him too soon.

My Dad and used to sing this together when I was around 4. I have fond memories of the more innocent days.

Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day the September of the year this song was released my partner and I suffered a miscarriage at 12 weeks. I remember just wanting the month to be over.

Kinda hard to listen to these now, they take me back to a time when I was ready to give up completely.

I also teared up recently listening to The Flobot's "Good Soldier."

Oh...there was this Alison Krauss song my wife had me listen to that made me cry, about two boys got lost in the woods. Most messed up song I've heard since. . .well, maybe not, but still.

Last night I was listening to Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime, and about halfway through the album I wanted to cry. It's been a long time since I heard it all the way through, but after hearing it all in context, "Suite Sister Mary" makes songs like "Breaking The Silence" and "I Don't Believe In Love" more emotionally powerful. I got chills up my spine and my eyes watered. Reminded me how nice it felt when I could cry. v.v

Eric Clapton Tears In Heaven

This song gets me every time especially if you know the background of the song. For those of you that don't know his son fell out of a hotel window and died.

I am about to cry just thinking about that.

Oh my, great choices. Sally, I love both of those songs.

I'll be surprised if anyone knows this one, but I tear up every time I hear it: "A Better Place to Be" by Harry Chapin.

Also "Fallen" and "I Will Not Forget You" by Sarah McLachlan
