how good is it so far? I'm willing to buy it if it works well

I also would like to know more about it

I haven't got it yet. It IS in the mail, though. I'll post on here what my first reactions are once it gets here.

Here's a link where you can find all kinds of voice resources. The voice pack I bought is at the first link, 'Finding your female voice'

Belle - bad news - for security reasons I had to erase EVERYTHING - and I had your PM in that collection. Did you save it?

Hi Belle,

I did tried a few CDs about voice feminization: Develop a female voice by Melanie Anne Phillips, Finding your female voice from Stealth, and Fundamentals of You Feminie Voice 1 to 3 & Beyond the Fundamentals from Exceptional Voice.

Finding your female voice from Stealth is pretty good to start with from warming up your vocal cords to finding the right pitch and work on the resonance. I've been using it for nearly 10 months and the progress is very good. Fundamentals of You Feminie Voice is also a good addition to the one from Stealth and I find they both work together to cover many aspects to feminize my voice.

After nearly 10 months the results are amazing..... I can pass on the phone with no problem and nearly most of the time in real life if people don't know the old me. But the main key to success is to practice nearly everyday and don't forget to take a day to rest your voice. It took me a while to get to the right pitch and resonance and it seems when I keep practicing, eventually I can reach that point, overcome the barrier and grasp the right pitch and resoncance. Rightnow, I stay in this voice and I cannot talk in my old voice anymore (that's what I want!). I should say it really take a lots of patience and the beginning is not easy and a bit frustrating..... And after getting to the point of right pitch and resonance, then there is another challenge to learn the feminie way of articulation, phrasing, inflection.....etc Another challenge for me is I speak another language and the articulation, phrasing and inflection is another story from English.... I'm still working on it.

Hope this may help or PM me if you need more info

Cool, I'll think I'll wind up buying that Fundamentals of Your Feminine Voice one in the next week or so. Thx for the info!

But about articulation, phrasing, inflection... Does anyone have any advice on that?

Thanks Davie! And don’t worry, I didn’t take it that way. It’s just such a big topic I can only hope to tackle it one bit at a time.

This is not uncommon.  I started out going to the therapist in androgynous clothing: from the women's department, but plausibly masculine.  What made it easier was when I started going to a trans peer support group.  Most of the people there were presenting fully feminine, so I looked out of place in my androgynous clothing.  The peer pressure made it easier to dress in skirts.   I started out changing in a gender-neutral bathroom near the meeting room.  But I soon started wearing skirts in the car to and from the meetings.   Yes, it was nerve-wracking at first, but I soon realized that no one was looking and no one cared.    You can do this.

In my last session my therapist is starting to suggest that I need to start exploring my gender identity in a more tangible way through wearing feminine clothing at least during sessions.  I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around her seeing me actually en femme.   I love and trust her, but the thought of being visibly feminine is scaring (and thrilling) me.  Is this a common thing in gender therapy?  How do I get past the fear?  More importantly, what should I wear?

I felt the urge to date and felt just like a teenager again. I have recorded my journal titled Ashley's Life From Start to Present. I was very moody and agitated and happy. I think it was my body's way of being in shock. After about two months it got better. Remember that you aren't the only one transitioning because your wife is too. Consider yourself lucky because I lost mine because of it and so have many others. Just enjoy the ride.

I'm sorry for asking so many questions about your situation. I'm in your camp and believe you should be able to be whoever you feel you need to be. I guess it the Union Shop Stewart coming out in me. I want you to be treated fairly as well as respectably. You're human, you're a client of theirs. Especially if you're paying money to be there.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Views, terminology, and aspects of how events came to be....aren't those directly related to the news item?  If not, I'm rather confused.
