Truthfully I think the entire idea is dehumanizing and ALL OF US as citizens should refuse to allow such a thing to be done in this way.

Just wonder if the scan will show the implant rods? I had one guy argue with me that they wouldn't show. But, I bet they will, because they are metal, I beleive- correct me if I'm wrong.

<--actually isn't sure if theres metal involved (could very well be)

I know there's silicone involved and some of em inflate due to liquid from a reservoir getting pumping into the rods.....

really the only ones I kinda am familiar with and thats the case for are these:

Dunno about other kinds, although its likely true of the bendy-permanently semi rigid ones.

Wouldn't you know that your hips would be stainless steel, mine are just plain - show off!

I can't imagine what might surprise them in your pants - oh wait......nevermind! :blush:

Isn't this an invasion of privacy? I'd think they would -at least- set it up so that only employee's of the air port can see it. >.<

You know........

The world has changed so much since 9/11...

I used to fly commercial once in a while when I was in the Air Force...

I'd get invited up to the flight deck to sit and chat with the pilots because I had on my uniform with my wings displayed...I was on a flight crew..

The cockpit door was mostly always open to keep air fresh and everything was friendly and informal....

Now they practically strip you naked, and although I can understand the logic....I find it all extremely de-humanizing.

I make it a point not to fly anymore....and that's too bad...I love to fly...

I just want to know if ALL of this guy's fellow employees that sexually harrassed him have been fired? I don't endorse violence, but I certainly don't endorse harrassment. I am proud that out of ignorance they are admitting their crime! Coming from a violent AND mentally abusive family of origin, I would much rather someone beat the Holy mackerel out of me than torture my mind. I also need to know that people with such small minds are NOT working in or around the public on taxpayer support. I would much rather be know as having a small penis than a small mind! Thank-you for letting me vent!

Hi, All,

This one touches home very close, as my jobs demands me to fly at least once a month, sometimes twice a month, and as always I am always tuck nomatter what mode. So it should be ery intereste to see what they make out fo a guy wothouth any buldge?

Perenthetically, I always wear sheer knee highs, and nobody has ever made a comment on it

Geez, Dee Jay- If walk into the courthouxse with you and Jean, all the metal detectors in the building will go off. LOL You with you stainless steel hips and Jean with her titanium knees and toe. I don't stand a chance LOL.....

I totally agree with this. And it can be quite de-humanizing.

Granted I try as best as I can when I'm out to look male-ish. The last time I was at the airport a few weeks ago I had some tampons in my pockets. My metal buckles on my pants set the metal detector off. And they asked me if I had anything in my pockets and I told them "..tampons and pads" really low, like Hello. I'm uncomfortable with this. They made me take them out and sat them on the track and -scanned them- and had them out in the open for all to see. *rubs head* I can understand being safe and all, but I mean.. really.

This scanner that this topic about...is just a total invasion of privacy.

Okay. I understand the discomfort of being associated with such devices but.. knowing that this happened REALLY makes me want to carry a pad in my pocket for the next time I fly.. with a scared face drawn on the outside in Sharpie... D8

And Evan? OMG don't give me ideas! I just had to make a rule to myself to never own more than one packer at any given time thanks to you. I cannot be trusted! (Of course, now I do wonder what the general protocol is for packing while flying but I'm sure its around the forum somewhere.)

As for airlines in general.. I do remember hearing about the full body scanners as a means of lessening the time in line at security. While I'm not comfortable with the idea, I kinda get why they'd try and do it. What with people complaining about the lines all the time and getting angry and whatnot. (I've seen people get far too angry over lines in airports. I don't get how people would be so impatient about it. Then again, I'm one of those who has everything out and ready, shoes off and all that before getting IN the line at all so...) But still.. yeah. Its pretty invasive.

I think I'm less itchy about it though since I tend to get pulled into the "suspicious line" anyways. I have no idea what criteria I am setting off for this but it certainly makes flying a bit of a thrill! ;p

      I already tried that. Either too old like 60's and 70's or married. Not many people who would want to date a trans woman in dead red Mississippi. Maybe once things calm down just get a Mustang GT and just give up on it. Both are going to bring joy and pain. At least I could learn and share my love of cars with my kids when they get that old. I wouldn't even know what to do if someone said they wanted me. I would've already been thinking in my mind they are just going to ghost me so what's the point. I just don't know what to do anymore. I tried putting myself out there online and out in person. I haven't tried a bar yet although that's probably a bad idea. Maybe just to experience it again. I haven't been to one since 2013. The only problem I see is I'm not a night owl for sure. I go to bed at 8-830. My expectations were just that I wouldn't get rejected last. I have been able to handle a good bit of it but this one really hurt. I guess that's what happens when you have some hopes and expectations. It's not like I have another friend IRL to talk about this. She is my only one. I wished I didn't put myself out there.

      As one who had to deal with the Porn/Adult Entertainment business as commercial, taxpaying businesses on a professional level, I can say that they are in it for money and the highest percentage of their income comes from ultra conservative areas where adequate Medical and Mental Health Profession and University Science instruction on Trans issues are banned.    It makes me wonder how much porn literature is hidden behind the 13 Bibles and Bible Study guides on some people's family bookshelves.

      There's the old thing of getting out and getting involved in things in the community and meeting people that way. Does your church have a food pantry? Does it have service opportunities you could plug into otherwise? You might run into someone that way.

      Well that didn't go well. She said she is intentionally single. When will I just stop thinking about putting myself out there. It really hurt but rejection and getting ghosted is just my second language apparently. The one person I have told all my dark secrets and didn't run off. At least we are friends. I'm happy only when I'm sleeping and that is it because things actually go my way from time to time. Just another wonderful day of me. SMDH!

      So, this proves that we're all  pedophiles? I suspect that the majority of pedophiles are probably cis.   Yeah, Alexander the Great was probably queer.  What does this have to do with me needing to pee?   I am so tired of this ___.  I raised 8 kids and never molested any of them - unless you count changing diapers without closing my eyes.  Yeah… so tired.   It makes me wonder what is actually on these people's minds.
