Flashbacks/dejavoo

OK, so I have always had these flashbacks to dreams I have had as a result of dejavoo. I just feel I've done something before.

EX. In the days preceeding 7th grade I dreamt what the classroom would be like. Then, as a freshmen, I walked into a classroom, and had a flashback to that dream, and the rooms were similar.

This is a normal occourance for me. Any explanations or conspirasy theorys?

*turns on twilight zone music*

PS MODS: If this would go better somewhere else, please move it.

That happens to me too, though I have no clue why. I pretty much just chalk it up to having happened "for no reason", even though I know there must be 1. Now I'm curious; how many others does this happen to??

Hi Amber

I always loved having deja vu experiences.

And then some darn scientist had to figure out why it happens. Nothing mystical, no awsome 4th-dimentional activity. According to this study, deja vu occurs when the mind mistakenly overlaps a memory with a current place and regesters a "this is the same" kind of response when the two events/places were actually different.

Still, I like the twilight zone feeling of deja vu, even if it is a trick of a failing mind!

OMG I get that too! It's usually the most random crap too. Like I would dream I was playing a certain game at a certain time or being in a classroom or something and later on it happens. It's so freaky. Sometimes I even get the weather right too. It's like dreaming a future event to the letter and it happens. Spooky yes? Probably, I don't know. O.o

SWEET! I'm not alone! Go subconsous!

PS Do any of you have increaced forehead sensitivity, to, well beyond the actual forehead? Never got that either, but did win some cash on a bet!

I always thought the sensitivity was just like electricity or something. Like when you walk with socks on wool carpet or something and you get that charge going. I do get it though. Don't know what "it" really is though...

yeah, I could explain some instances with the brain cell overlapping theory

but I have also had dreams that I have written down

and then some time later I find myself in the same circumstances of the dream

specifically I had a dream where I walked out of my apartment

and noticed that all the bushes were gone, there was this really odd lighting, a fat guy in overalls was sitting on my porch to the right

and then a black police officer went upstairs to my left

the lighting is what I remembered the most, it was so bright but I knew it was night

a month or so later we got a new handyman who I thought I had seen before

a few months after that the manager put new siding on all the units and had new fences installed around the porch

to install them they removed the bushes

all this time, I never once thought about that dream, except as the poem I turned it into

so about a year after I had the dream

there was a comotion outside at around 10

it was winter and dark early

they had put in a new light with the siding but wired it badly and the handyman noticed that it was smoking

the handyman had called 911 and reported it

the first person on the scene was a black police officer

and just as I was coming out to see what was going on he was heading upstairs to ask them to leave their apartment until the situation got under control

the light was on the wall right outside their unit

deja vu is a bit of an understatement

the strange lighting was a combination of the police car lights and the new siding that was white, the former siding was brown

the handyman was wearing overalls and was to my right, but not on my porch

all the bushes had been gone for a while

and I was just kind of stunned that everything came together almost the same as the dream

it took me a few days to calm down

the thing about the dream that was the most memorable

was that it was simultaniously so familiar and so foreign

I had the since that I had been here before while at the same time I was sure that I have never been there

anyway

about the twilight zone

been there

done that

looking forward to going back :)

i get the same thing. i guess i just always pushed it off on being connected to reincarnation and psychic moments being connected, since i believe in both. dunno if that makes sense, but that's how i think of it.

PM any or several of the Moderators or Administrators if you want to have something changed due to spelling errors, or if you simply want to have an entire post deleted.  We do not allow members to edit their own posts since there are some items we restrict from being posted.  Those things are in the Community Rules and if a Staff member has removed something because of the rules we do not want it coming back.  https://www.transgenderpulse.com/community-rules/   Use the PM system to contact us and include a link to the post you want changed.

Do I ever feel? There isn't a single minute that goes by that I feel that way. I have such a strong hate for what I have that there isn't a word out there for it.

I already tried that. Either too old like 60's and 70's or married. Not many people who would want to date a trans woman in dead red Mississippi. Maybe once things calm down just get a Mustang GT and just give up on it. Both are going to bring joy and pain. At least I could learn and share my love of cars with my kids when they get that old. I wouldn't even know what to do if someone said they wanted me. I would've already been thinking in my mind they are just going to ghost me so what's the point. I just don't know what to do anymore. I tried putting myself out there online and out in person. I haven't tried a bar yet although that's probably a bad idea. Maybe just to experience it again. I haven't been to one since 2013. The only problem I see is I'm not a night owl for sure. I go to bed at 8-830. My expectations were just that I wouldn't get rejected last. I have been able to handle a good bit of it but this one really hurt. I guess that's what happens when you have some hopes and expectations. It's not like I have another friend IRL to talk about this. She is my only one. I wished I didn't put myself out there.

As one who had to deal with the Porn/Adult Entertainment business as commercial, taxpaying businesses on a professional level, I can say that they are in it for money and the highest percentage of their income comes from ultra conservative areas where adequate Medical and Mental Health Profession and University Science instruction on Trans issues are banned.    It makes me wonder how much porn literature is hidden behind the 13 Bibles and Bible Study guides on some people's family bookshelves.

Do you ever feel trapped in a body that doesn't feel like yours?

There's the old thing of getting out and getting involved in things in the community and meeting people that way. Does your church have a food pantry? Does it have service opportunities you could plug into otherwise? You might run into someone that way.
    • Ashley0616
Well that didn't go well. She said she is intentionally single. When will I just stop thinking about putting myself out there. It really hurt but rejection and getting ghosted is just my second language apparently. The one person I have told all my dark secrets and didn't run off. At least we are friends. I'm happy only when I'm sleeping and that is it because things actually go my way from time to time. Just another wonderful day of me. SMDH!

In their minds, yes, unless it is clearly, consistently, forcefully articulated by those who represent trans people that we are not.  I'm not sure who that would be.

So, this proves that we're all  pedophiles? I suspect that the majority of pedophiles are probably cis.   Yeah, Alexander the Great was probably queer.  What does this have to do with me needing to pee?   I am so tired of this ___.  I raised 8 kids and never molested any of them - unless you count changing diapers without closing my eyes.  Yeah… so tired.   It makes me wonder what is actually on these people's minds.
