but just reading and thinking about voice... i didn't realize how hard it must be to completely retrain your voice.

you're some tough hard working ladies.

And Brenda,speaking of butterflies, one of my friends once referred to me as someone who was a catterpillar when he first met me but then he said that now I'm coming out as a butterfly.

Well, Leigh it is very nice of you to say that and the voice is one thing that we have to deal with while your voices change on the T.

We have to have electrolysis while your facial hair just starts to grow.

However, no one gets a free pass on the Transgendered roller coaster.

Your chest does not flatten on its own, while ours do develop, maybe not as big as we had hoped but they do develop.

We require only one surgery to be "complete" while you would need three to achieve the same level of "completeness".

We all have our work cut out for us, this is not easy but it is so worth the effort.

Great effort results in great rewards, at least its supposed to. We all put a lot of effort into transition. The reward is being able to be our true selves.

That seems worth any price and any effort.
