Using A Stp Device After T

Ok, I know it seems like all I ever talk about is standing up and urinating, but I have to admit it is a bit of an obsession for me. Sorry. But I want some other opinions on this. Before my first T shot the doctor told me that one of the first effects of the hormones would be getting bigger down there, and he told me that as a result of this it would make it easier to use the STP device. I could already use it fine, and I figured after what he had told me that it was probably because I was already quite big down there, pre-T. So I started T, and as he told me, within the first week I did get a lot bigger. Although I now find it harder, and more uncomfortable to use the STP device? Just wondering if any other transmen have found this problem? Do I just have to re-practise because my body has changed? Will I get used to this?

Well, I haven't gone on T yet, nor have I yet to use an STP, but I'll lend an opinion.

The way STPs generally rest against the genitalia requires resting against the clitoris because of where the urethra is [i'm assuming that's the main part of your genitalia that has enlarged due to the hormones, as the tissue is expanding to sort of mimic penile tissue]. Now that the clitoris is enlarged, the STP is probably putting uncomfortable pressure and/or scraping it. You might want to see if you can vary the angle you hold the STP at, so it doesn't put uncomfortable pressure on the clitoris...

I'm not sure though, it could be your anatomy is a little different, and it would be hard to make a complete analysis without knowing for sure your anatomical structure [or the structure of the STP].

You'll probably get used to it in time though, but your genitals may continue to change due to the hormones. It really varies from person to person.

yeah, you basically just have to angle it differently so that it doesn't cause uncomfortable pressure or scraping. after using it like that for awhile you'll just get used to it and wonder how you ever did it differently.

Hey guys, I was thinking about what you both said today, and I think you are definitely right. It's the added sensitivity that was making it uncomfortable, and meaning that I couldn't get the device back quite far enough like I used to be able to do. I spent a lot of time practising again today, and think I have now adjusted my technique to my new body. I guess I'll have to go through this re-adjustment after every shot of T for a while. Thanks guys. You all know how important it is for me to be able to urinate standing up. I thought I lost it there for a while, and panicked. Thanks for the support. xxx

Hey, no problem!

It will especially be like that at first, I think, while you re-adjust to the new puberty your body is going through.

Take it as a sign that you're becoming more masculine all the time! [Not like you need to become more masculine...]
