Being a transgendered member of the military, I personally don't see this ever really happening, and if it did, it wouldn't stick.

The military is just too ultra conservative to let this happen. As messed up as it is to say, everything in the military is one big

gay joke, discriminating and kicking homosexuality in the ribs is a normal thing and is always welcomed there. And unfortunately,

it's not like someone can go and say "I'm being discriminated against because I'm gay." Because they find themselves on the receiving

end of a discharge and usually a savage beating from their fellow soldiers and just gets swept right under the rug, but in rare occasions.

I'm absolutely terrified to say anything to anyone in the military, DADT or not. It would bring far too much physical and mental pain.

Umm...This actually did happen, something like two weeks ago. DADT has been repealed, and Obama signed the bill last week.
