But what else is out there?

Generally well known mainstream songs:

even some marginal ones:

Actually, (and its just me) most songs actually (if you think about it) are written "for" women in one way or another. Either its a song by a woman for woman to empower and celebrate (like you named), by women and for women to give voice to their complains or situations (generally because of men whether relational or political) , by men to compliment and admire/woo women, or by men to attempt to apologize to /reclaim women. LOL So dang near all songs then would be what you're lookin for

I know that I shouldn't - what with him being male and all of that - but I agree with Evan in that most music is aimed at or about women.

But I had to stop and think about it because to me nothing in this world is all about gender - or sex - it isn't all about anything without our interpretation.

I write poetry with a specific meaning to me and others read it with a different meaning for each of them - I love that part.

I tend to look at the world without a gender bias - it let's me see the beauty from all directions.

One of the saddest songs I know is not specifically about a woman - it could be sung by a woman to a man.

The Smile Has Left Your Eyes

It is about that moment of realization that a relationship has ended and there is no sadder moment.
