Breast Forms?

So I've searched the entire forums and many websites about breast forms and other substitutes...

I've tried water balloons, socks, tissue, all the normal "faux" breasts without buying breast forms, but would like the feel and look of actual breasts. It would be nice to see the girls when I look down, not stuffing! :P

On breast forms it seems that if you want the quality ones www.thebreastformstore.com is where to go.

But if you want a deal, eBay other retail ones and they'll be fine.

But is there any real difference?

Does a $29.99 real silicon eBay buy not have the bounce and feel of a $199.99 set from the Breast Form Store?

Is there anyone out there that has bad experiences with expensive ones and better experiences with your "standard" lower priced ones, or does money really matter on breasts?

Thanks a lot girls!

I have one of the nicer sets, but I can't remember exactly where I got them from. Paid around $200-$300 for them, and they were absolutely worth it. They look and feel almost precisely like the real thing, and under a shirt (if you have enough support!), you can't tell the difference. They even bounce and move with you correctly lol, and they'll quickly match your body temperature if you leave them on for a little while.

However, I have much less use for them now that I'm growing my own :(. My chest is usually way too sore to even touch, let alone have a couple of extra pounds hanging off it. At least I can use them as a reference point, to know what I might look like in a few years, and once I can afford a boob job...

I love my silicone breastforms. I bought them from Germany on EBay for £100 (approx.150-200 US dollars I think) for the pair. They feel incredibly natural on my body and, when I was at a club, dressed on Sunday evening, they made a massive difference to my looking feminine. In my experience, they have been worth every penny. I strongly recommend buying them, save up the money if needs be, its worth it.

To add to my previous question:

Some need bras, some need adhesive.

Pros and cons?

And has anyone ever considered using foundation or something on the breast forms to match your skin tone so that they don't look like, well, breast forms?

Alisa, I did get mine from the Breast Form Store, and am very happy with it. I don't have experience with others,

but I've read reviews, and apparently the lower priced ones don't last as long and don't feel as natural. Of course,

if you're only spending $30-40 on a form from Ebay or elswhere, its not a huge loss if you have to replace it or

don't like it. It comes down to individual preference.

As to using any kind of chemical on it, including foundation, I don't think its a good idea. The membrane is very sensitive,

and the instructions say don't use anything on them except a damp cloth.

I just posted this information to a different post, but this one seems more appropriate. I purchased my forms from the ebay seller: http://myworld.ebay.com/dreamform/

It took some patience, but I was able to get them for around $30. The quality was fantastic and the seller as good. I don't use adhesive (well, I haven't yet), so I can't tell you how they do that way, but as for the form in general, they were great.

Hope this helps!

I got a pair from dreamform on eBay (36B for $35 if I recall, http://myworld.ebay.com/dreamform), and I'm no expert, but I don't think they're bad. However, I've never put them through much wear and tear, so I don't know. They feel real to me through a bra and have weight and a little jiggle. Again, not much testing or expertise here, but I think you'd have to be pretty serious to spend hundreds on nicer ones.

I have purchased two pairs of silicon breasts forms from the breast form store and am very pleased. In my opinion they are the real thing, they giggle, bounce and have weight so my bra doesn't ride up. I feel like the woman I want to be when wearing them. I have both mastectomy bras and regular bras. I prefer a mastectomy bra and I can wear them either in the pockets or out depending on what I am wearing. By the way, I have always dealt with nancy at the breast form store.

My Nearly Me breast forms from Jodee are divine. Natural weight, movement and conform well to my chest or whatever bra I'm wearing. They seem durable, too. I've had them for about three years, wear them a fair amount, even to bed and they show no appreciable wear. I wash them with soap and warm water. Quite worth the money, I would say.

Two sets of experiences - thinking I was a crossdresser, knowing I was transitioning. The difference of course is the HRT and growing breasts of my own.

I used differnt forms for years - finally went to the silicone types. It is the best material. There are three kind, one specifically made for crossdressing, those made for women to enhance their own breasts, and women's breast prostesis (Masectomy). At first I used a women's type used for enhancement - NuBra brand, because they had tape inserts and would approximate breasts when I was without a bra - like sleeping in a nightgown. They did not hold up well. I made a mistake and used spray adhesive one time - and it eroded the covering. I bought and wore out three sets - not for us full time T-Girls anyway, and can be expensive in stores. But available cheaper in the Ebay stores.

The next set I bought were bout $60-$65, They were to add two sizes to a womans bra size, but because they had a slight nipple and were not that concave under, I always considered them really for crossdressers. I still have them. Originally they were sticky on the inside and after the body heated them up they would stay on for a long time. Eventually that feature wore out. They are not confortable wearing them now with my own full B-cup breasts, but when added, the resulting cleavage is outstanding! As I tend to NOT want to bring attention to myself as a T-Girl, I rarely use them. I found them on EBay and they were bought new.

Then I got smart. I bought the actual silicone type breast inserts natal women use. They are like enhancement pads and they are extemely concave and comfortable over my natural breasts. They add at least a cup size and are easy to wear in my bras. They are NOT adhesive in anyway - so my girls will just have to roam naturally in my nightgowns - grin. They too are about $65. They are found in larger department stores in the longerie department. Clerks sell them to you without blinking an eye if you explain you are a transitioning MTF. Must be a common thing - grin!

The care of any of these forms is the key. Don't store them flat but in the form box they came in. Wash with soap and water. NO foundation or other added colors - you cannot make the edges seemless anyway.

Hope this helps. But growing your own is the way to go!

I've ordered from the breast form store twice in my life and they are excellent. I love the forms and the customer service is great. However, I also get good use from birdseed nylons, balloons and even plain tissue depending on the look I'm going for. Hope that helps

I bought my forms from the breast form store and have been very happy with them. when the time comes to replace them I will probably be a repeat customer. As for buying from eBay or other such sites I suspect that you are taking your chances.

I've been using a pair of homemade "breasts" that I did with two plastic ball's filled with water and painted with silicone rubber. I'm trying to achieve a "J cup" because I like rubinesque woman and the feeling of being top heavy. I'd like to move up to something better but the $300 plus price tag and having to set up an mailbox account to get it on the sly are slowing me down. I'd also like to get something that's good/realistic even when I'm undressed, as I have a monokini that I wear sometimes when I'm out. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it. I originally found a post about large cup enhancements when I first came to the site, but I haven't been able to find it again.

I normally go for C/D cup forms and have a wonderful pair from Special Trade in Germany. They fit and feel so genuine to me at least. They also warm up quite fast to body temp though their skin tone does not match mine. But I'm happy with them.

I also got a pair of H forms, again on eBay purely because they were on offer! Like £60 instead of the £250+ usual price. They are amazing on the ocassions I want to be bigger up top than normal (for me). The biggest (if you'll excuse the pun) drawback is that even wearing them overnight, they don't warm up so it does actually disturb my sleeping.

I bought my breast forms from the breast form store. I am very happy with them. I have had them for a number of years. They are made specifically for people with a male torso. They are the same material as masectomy breast forms. I think the breast form store people have another website selling masectomy forms for cisgengered women too.

I would buy again from the breast form store in a heart beat bit was worth the money I paid for them.

As far as anything cheaper on eBay etc. you will get what you pay for it.

I have both a pair of DDD and a pair of J cups I purchased from the breast form store. I love both pair as they have the bounce and weight I was wanting. I highly recommend the breast form store. They may not be the cheapest, but the product and service are great.

I've actually seen a lot of people who at least tolerate the LGB and not the T. There's also some of the gay/lesbian population that, unfortunately, alienate trans people away from other parts of the community.   To me, the biggest block is probably the lack of formal exposure. If people aren't taught about LGBT they will, just like any other topic, come to misunderstandings and more. Besides, how can most LGBT people figure out that they are such if they don't know it exists? I know that, personally, I didn't realize I was a guy rather than just someone who wanted to be a guy until I was introduced to trans as a concept

You're welcome. I wanted to post something new that I haven't posted yet.

That's a lot of weight congratulations. I was almost about to become a K9 handler in the Air Force back in 2006 but I found out that once you get promoted to E7 you lose your dog. You can get it at E4 as long as they need them but it is usually E5. If you don't understand military jargon, I'll help you out. I didn't want to join the Marines because I actually like to be treated better. I was Security Forces and performed security, law enforcement and everything you could think of such as convoying, fire fights, search pit just to name some. It also helped that I had family that was Air Force and I went through Air Force Junior Reserves Officer Training Corps so I knew the basics of Air Force already. That's awesome that you have goals in life. I hope you get it.

@FelixThePickleManTrust me I know the feeling. I didn't have the guts to come out that young. It wasn't well known back then. I knew I felt completely wrong. I knew for sure my parents weren't going to help me so I hid it all. It hurt a lot to live a lie. I always pretended to be the female that I was dating. I prayed and cried every night. It's not easy because bullying has always been around and the teachers didn't really care about that stuff back then.    You can make it through this. I would like to help you out just like I have with previous members. It's going to be up to you if you would like it. It's not going to happen overnight I can promise you that. For every negative thing or comment it typically needs double the number for positive things to feel better about yourself. You unfortunately are living with your parents which they are getting used to you coming out too. Sometimes coming out you're going to lose a lot of support. I lost over 40 family members but I'm happier than what I was. I still look at the mirror and still have my issues which is typical because we know our own faults and short comings. You have to value yourself. There isn't going to be an easy life. We all face many obstacles and it's harder for the ones that have something else to deal with.   We aren't in the same boat as some people are in yachts, cruise ships, and so on. There are perks and cons to each one. The best thing is to find something that you are great at and focus on that while trying to improve on the little things. Some have rituals everyday such as a new Bible verse that is related to what you are going through or a poem there are many poems for everything.

Tonight we will split a thick cut ribeye steak grilled outside, along with fresh asparagus shoots, apple sauce, and fresh cucumber salad. The steak has already been seasoned, wrapped in butcher paper resting to room temperature. The cucumber salad is blended and resting in the refrigerator.   Tomorrow's dinner will be Chicken drumsticks (skin on) that are already marinating in Zesty Italian dressing. Tomorrow I will smoke the drumsticks with apple-wood smoke, before crisping them up on the grill. We'll also have grilling beans, and garlic mashed potatoes.   The outside kitchen is now open.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Clutching of pearls because people that don’t “align with society” party to excess is part of the problem, not a symptom of one. Cis-het folks are out there airing their sexuality, reveling in their debauchery, and displaying general anti-social behaviors all the time but aren’t reacted to in the same manner.   The most important T in this conversation is Time. As long as there is not a fascist, violent, crackdown on LGBTQ+ people, our exposure to society (at least in Western society) will continue to move it towards our acceptance.

I have three within a two block walk! You'd think I was in Seattle already! The one I have always gone to is the quintessential "local coffee shop" though; local artist's works on the wall, drinks named after customers and local geography, and it's run down just enough to feel homey. Also, I can bring my 20oz coffee mug in and get it filled for the price of a small! :D

Eczema was my excuse. *high fives!*   It's lovely when you get a nice interaction like that. Yesterday I got a "you're so sweet" from a man who I held the door for, I don't think he saw all of me until after he'd walked past so he only picked up on my outfit and body appearance. I was so paranoid that I used too male of a voice in return, but c'est la vie. I felt really nice after it though.   I tend to try to put in a lot of effort. If I wear make up, it has to be perfect, etc. I put this pressure on myself because I, too, don't have a chance in h-e-double hockey sticks at "passing".  So, I try not to make myself an "easy target".
    • KathyLauren
It's just the opposite here.  There are a ton of local boutique coffee roasters in this area.  There is no excuse for bad coffee here, which is why I am always surprised when I get mediocre truck-stop coffee in restaurants.

It’s a huge difference, the laser has done wonders. I still have some stragglers, but I hope a few more sessions to try to zap those. Mostly what’s left are the white/blonde hairs, they still need a shave but they don’t really cause me much dysphoria.   I do use makeup, I barely go out without liner and mascara these days. Don’t tend to do a full face, but when I go for a little coverage I use tinted moisturizer and a little concealer under setting powder. Here’s me today, with about as much makeup as I go out with (forgive me the wings, I struggled today…), I went and got my hair done, so I had to look good for the ladies.
