Getting Rid Of My Waist Indent

I have a feminine waist. It's awkward for me. My waist to hip ration is 7.8 which is nearly male but my problem is the little indent that separates my waist from the rest of my abdominal area. I would like to know how I can get rid of it. Are there any exercises that would build the muscles there to a more masculine waist?

Well, that's female fat distribution patterns. Short of losing weight and exercising your abs a lot, probably not much. :( Sorry.

Eat a lot of dorito tostodos with heavy sour cream and green onion dip - swill it down with beer, watch television for days without moving,

Then you'll have a delightful pot gut!

im assuming you mean that icky little under the navel bump, yes? the only way to absolve this is to drink lots of water (so that no amount of inner bloating will accentuate the bump) and then do lots of varieties of crunches.

my crunch routine is 25each reverse crunches, regular traditional crunches, side oblique crunch, and vertical crunches. I also do alot of core exercises, most of which are easy to do without equipment. doing side bends and side lunges while holding small weights will help tone a lot. Learn varieties of planks as well, they help a lot.

God loves you i hate that little bump. but it can be defeated! When searching for oblique and lower abdominal exercises, look for ones recommended for men, as most women usually want to avoid over-defined oliques because it leads to a straighter and more dense line. Yogajournal.com has a sequence builder and you can select poses based on anatomic targets, in general lots of toning in that area will help flatten that out.
