Toy Story 3

So my wife and I dropped the kids off with the in-laws and went to see a matinee of Toy Story 3 today (the kids are 3 & 4 and have shown no real interest in sitting through an entire film yet). I am among those who believes that Pixar can do no wrong and I had high expectations for this film which were easily surpassed. If you like this series at all, you must see this one.

So at the end of the film, I started bawling. Tears flowing like a Florida storm and actually shaking a bit. I have never cried like this at a film ever. I didn't stop crying until about halfway through the credits. How wonderful it was :D

You should really see this movie, y'all.

luv

xD I felt ashamed in myself when I was around my teenage friends, bouncing up and down when I heard they were coming out with Toy Story 3

They all stared at me. xDD

I still want to see it, but I was afraid it wouldn't be as good as the first two lololol

Thanks for the feedback! I love those movies and I'm proud of it. :]

Don't worry. It is amazing! As usual, Pixar did it gorgeously, it is a wonderful ending to the trilogy.

It will seriously complete your childhood. c:

Yeah, I cried at the end. Not as much as the first 10 mins of Up, but I cried. Prob for a few diff reasons than most in the theater. I wanted to be that little girl! She was adorable.

This film was great! I love how they were able to make jokes about the other movies without it seeming cheesy. I cryed too at the end, but up got me more too.

Best line "Barbie didn't write this"

OH NO!

Don't tell me that :(

I know for sure it will get me. I also love all the Pixar movies, Toy Story being the first I seen, so like the series very much.

I had seen Up at my sons School. Prior to the start of the movie, the Principle said "apparently this movie may make some cry". I thought she was joking. Boy was I wrong, felt like a fool, Gosh darned near bawling in front of strangers.

On the other hand they're was a part that I couldn't stop laughing at so much, that I started to cry again.

What great stories these are, my children and I have enjoyed them all. Great lessons in life.

So me and my wife took our oldest daughter to watch this today and let me tell anyone that hasn't gone yet it will get to you and make you cry. I was sniffling and now others heard me but I didn't care. I had my daughter sitting in my lap and she would look up at me and wonder why I am crying. It was a great movie. The last part is what really got me.

this was the movie we decided to see last weekend

and it truly was

EPIC!

Spanish buzz was one of the funniest things ive seen in a long time.

But gotta say, the part with barbie dressed as ken in the astronaut suit and in the high heels..

that was pretty funny. lol lil subliminal CD humor there.

I didnt cry at the end, but i was gettin all teary eyed.

it was well worth the 11 year wait, but i have a feeling there will be more toy stories to come.

Toy story was my life as a child, I had all the characters, from Woody to the Bucket-o-soldiers

I still have my Woody doll actually ahah

So I saw this day one and loved every minute of it, it was completely made for the kids who had grown up with the originals, while still making it entertaining for the kids of today, but that ending was the most touching thing I've ever seen

Being admitted into the hospital after a long ER visit. I started passing lots of blood and they are keeping me for observation.    Nurse came in to see about a condom catheter, that of course doesn't work on me. 🤣   She said, "I guess we will use incontinence supplies on you."

Yeah.  I think this is what it is about.  Since they are not transgender, nobody else could possibly be either.  I'm not sure that a cisgender person can understand being transgender.  But that hardly means that a transgender person's experience is not real - just because it is not theirs. Why is a transgendered person's experience not valid, while a cisgendered person's is?  Why should it be the cisgendered person that decides? Nobody is forcing a cis person to transition.  What I do for myself is my own business.

I've been thinking it is a matter of belief.  They simply do not believe someone can validly be transgender and should not be allowed to practice their beliefs, but should be forced to practice their belief, that is, that there is no such thing as transgender and it is all mental illness/sin/hormonal imbalance.

I am really kind of sick of everybody who is not transgender deciding on what we need and do not need in the way of procedures. They act like all of this is play acting, and we can just apply cosmetics to our entire body. It might be refreshing if someone asked us directly what services we need in order to transition. I could say more as I am frustrated, but I do not want to violate the TOS.

Good luck on selling your wife on the idea of a different car. This could be tougher than negotiating with a dealership.   My wife agreed to my taking profit out of the company to buy a used truck once we found out the 2014 F-250 I currently had with 267,244 miles on it was needing new torque converter solenoids and the DEF system is chocking up. We bought a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, Duramax 4X4, with 163,000 miles. LTZ Off Road package, power mirrors, chrome step boards, rear camera, exhaust brake, and air lift bags on the rear suspension. It belonged to a friend of mine who also owned a mobile training business.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

At the other end and in our favor is Julia Serano's analysis of the Cass Report Fiasco   https://juliaserano.medium.com/the-cass-review-wpath-files-and-the-perpetual-debate-over-gender-affirming-care-8f56d0c4d0c6   Serano is a Trans Woman and a molecular biologist herself, guess whose evaluation I honor.

That's great @MaeBe hopefully the company will offer your wife a moving package with the new job position. That's how I was transferred from the St. Louis Metro area to the Indianapolis Metro area. The company covered all the moving expenses, as well as a three week stay in an extended living hotel while we chose an area to build our current home.   Good Luck and make it a happy adventure.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
