Do You Think I Can Pass?

Recently I've been having this seemingly irrational fear of not being able to pass. This isn't something I've ever worried about before, yet the other day it hit me out of nowhere. It probably has to do with the fact that I'm about to come out to everyone important in my life and work on going full-time very soon.

So! What do you think? I uploaded a couple pictures to my gallery of me in male-mode. Unfortunately those are the only kind of pictures I have, but all the better I suppose. I already get mam'ed from behind on a semi-regular basis. Do I look feminine enough to pass? (The beard and moustache will be gone when I go full-time, of course. XD). If not, any advice?

I need some honest input. Don't hold back (be nice about it of course).

Let me say with confidence: You can pass.

Your facial features are on the smaller side, your face is thin, and as far as I can tell your firgue will work too.

Yay! I'm happy now.

I only uploaded face pictures because 1) that's all I had on hand, and 2) I'm not terribly worried about my figure, especially once I start on Estrogen (which hopefully will be very soon as well); I'm tall (6'2" and it works for me), slender, and I have abnormally wide hips for a genetic male.

I'll definitely keep everyone updated.

Oh, and if anyone else has comments, I'd love to hear them.

I agree with the others, Jul. You have wonderful potential there. Obviously, makeup, the right hair style and clothing are all markers that peeps pick up on and will help, but the basic facial features are feminine, so it won;t take a lot of work.

You're going to do just fine.

I am sure when you have makeup on you look even prettier, yes you pass but passing as others have said is so much more than putting on the clothes, it is mannerisms, attitude and of course voice, that is the single most tell, no matter how good you look if when you open your mouth and this deep voice comes out it is all over, are you working on all these things.

You have beautiful skin, hair and feminine facial features, nice eyebrows, no brow ridge, in the future you may or may not want to have your chin worked on.

Women come in all shapes sizes with all kinds of different facial features, you will do just fine.

I think you will do fine. Here is that brutally honest evaluation you wanted:

HIGHLY feminine features - you beautiful hair of course. You mention a good slim profile for your body and that will only improve with the HRT - your face seems very good.

LESS feminine features - terrible scowl. Your eyes are emotionless and show little life - you need to 'talk with your eyes' to be female.

Unfeminine features - slight browline - square chin. Putting my finger over the lower part of your face so it doesn't show - 100% girl above.

But the HRT is a miracle, it does things you never expect.

As is, it takes tremendous effort a on my part to 'pass' as a male day-to-day, as those aspects of myself are naturally feminine already and have been as long as I remember. I deepen my voice consciously quite a bit when I talk to people.

I'll work on the eyes for sure. I noticed that as well; I think it was mostly those pictures.

I hope you're right about HRT. I have a feeling my body will respond really well to it.
