Yep, I've Decided To Ask

So, I've decided that I'm going to ask my Therapist to write me up a letter for HRT.

I've been thinking about it heavily for a bit now, where I want to go, what options I have in life and how everything relates as to Gender, and I've come to the decision - this is the only path I can take. I'm not going to be someone else just because some Kids at school might not agree or it gets awkward and uncomfortable.

Love, Hilda - Party Animal Extrodanaire (When was the last time I went to a party? Like, 7 months ago. Anyway, I like the company of my Gparents better, oh shoot I've begun to ramble again! Me and my loosebrained nonsense, so hard to keep on track. Speaking of which, when I was in the car to the grocery store today, people were driving Go-Karts on the road, ha! Looked like so much fun, if it wasn't for the rain and cold weather probably freezing your face off! I don't handle the cold well, its a bit impairing.)

Many therapists want you to ask for the letter....

I know girls here that went to their therapist for ages and never got their letter...then on day they asked "when am I getting my letter?"

The therapist said "I was waiting for you to ask!"

Good for you Hilda. I am glad you are taking the correct steps to starting your transition. You are already a beautiful girl and once on hormones it will only help more.

I'm so jealous of you! But in a good supportive way lol.

I'm officially starting mine on the 23rd if the blood work is fine-have the appointment set.

But they won't do to my bod what they'd do to yours and you look great to start. Plus you'll still be young when you come out the other side. The sooner the better for you-don't skip steps or anything.

Hilda - YES! Good move for you I think. You seem so needful to be yourself, and this starts that process. HRT is the second most powerful thing you can do toward transition, most put it in front of FFS, and it is because your mind and body can finally fuse into one person. The mental peace you will achieve is a wonder in itself, not to mention the feminization of the body.

So that said - go for it!

Hilda, that will be awesome to get started on hormones. Good for you! I hope you get your letter very soon.

You can think of hormones acting as the "Ruby Slippers" did for Dorothy. You are already a girl, just as she already knew how to go home. The hormones will just give you the confidence you need, just like those slippers gave to Dorothy, to find the way "home."

Speaking of Dorothy, you haven't seen any Wicked Witches around lately? ME?

Congrats, it looks like you are ready to start your journey, i do not know what requirements where you live for starting HRT, in the US you need to be 18 unless you parents sign off on it.

You are already a beautiful girl and i can not wait to see how much the hormones will just add to that.

Hilda, don't be so hard on yourself when you post! You write very well. And If I think about how many times I go "off subject" when I speak it is amazing I even get my point across. Your posts are interesting and show a lot of your personality! Hardly "loosebrained". I have had my share of bullies talking about me so I can relate to you there. Just remember you have many people that care about you and support you here.
