Passing Flat Chested

Hi everyone. :)

Ok here's my question, I've started dressing a lot more like a girl at school lately, still male mind you, (just), and I was wondering what I could do about my, 1 flat chest and 2 broad shoulders and narrow hips...

I do not want fake breasts, I want to try and pass flat chested so any fashion tips are what I'm looking for.

I havent come out at school and eveyone just thinks I'm a VERY fiminine guy...so i'm trying to pass by wearing female clothes which aren't too stricly female wear only. I have a pair of womens jeans and a really nice blue girls jacket which pinches my waist and fans out a bit at the bottom to make my hips look bigger; it does make my soulders look a bit broader though...

so yes, any advice is welcome. :)

Love

coming from a young(20) trans woman who passes all the time flat chested (11 weeks hormones), I feel like if you are going to pass you have to go for full on girl. There are many girls who are flat chested so its really not that weird if people see some girl waslking down the hallway with no boobs.

for broad shoulders I suggest tops that are bigger towards the bottom, that flow these give you a nice "A" shape sillouette and help with shoulders alot, and if you pair them with some skinny jeans it helps with hips / makes you look skinnier. also I wouldnt wear any tiny straps. try to keep straps around 2 to 3 inches becausee these will hide the broadness of your shoulders a little, but still look fem.

hope I answered anything :)

Hi Nadia

Broad shoulders seems to come up a lot in passing questions. I was born with a female body and have always had very broad square shoulders. So broad I couldn't wear dresses because anything that fit my shoulders was too big. No one ever questioned my gender because of them-Oh how I wish they had! The main thing is to not hunch them and avoid capped sleeves and spaghetti straps. Broad shoulders make your waist look small and can really make clothes look good. In fact I was offered modeling jobs when I was young!

Actually -broad shoulders, flat chest-the way to pass is the same. Attitude! As an actress you know how to project what is in your mind with your body. And people will see what you project! I have seen beautiful women virtually ignored while someone else who should have been plain was the center of fascinated attention. And it was all attitude. you are starting out very pretty so you should be able to be the most attractive girl in the room!

Plump your chest out in your head, remember what a beautiful fascinating girl you are and go for it!

Amen!

Learn to carry your flesh sensuously, and you'll pull them in every time. Everyone is so attracted to that sense of vitality in people.

I'm fat, far too tall, nose is hideous, and I still have to beat them off with a stick (sad thing is thats true, very scary day that, but now I have a good laugh at it)

Love, Maria.

I'm 6'3", about 240 pounds and insanely broad shouldered. But when I go out en femme (which is increasing much more rapidly than I expected), I just put on a little makeup, fix my hair, and give myself a pep talk before I step out the door. I have to agree with JJ on a thing. Try to stay away from things like halter tops, spaghetti straps, and backless tops. Wear things that have a little bit of a sleeve at least, like babydoll tops. Also a bra, even if you're flat, helps with confidence, and gives the hint of a boob. Hope I helped.

I'm a 36A, Nadia and absolutely refuse to wear falsies. Victoria Secret "Very Sexy" push-ups are all I need to fill out my tops. You didn't say how much you weigh, but I'm a 5' 10" 146 pound beanpole. Halter/choker collar & tube tops, empire waists and shirts that flare at the bottom all look great (just about anything Mudd, American Eagle or Old Navy). Not sure I agree about avoiding spaghetti straps, but I run from muscle shirts and anything with boat necks or cap sleeves.

Well - if this is a school situation it might be dangerous to use enhancement or even a bra. If they are just 'you' upstairs, no one can say you are doing anything against the dress code.

I am tall and I have moderately wide shoulders, but the 20 months of HRT have finally given me a waist (and breasts - duh). That is what helps us the most, a rather narrow waist. Before I got there I did some research and found my hips and shoulders were nearly equal and in a woman that is considered a square body shape. There are tricks to dress a body like that and you can Google those sites. No horizantal stripes, things like that.

BUT

I found out this works for me:

No off the shoulder outfits - no wide scoop neck clothing. "V" necklines work best - and tailored shirts with collars, the buttons left partly opened, gave a suggestion of cleavege, even when there is none. This is especially effective with a necklace - not exactly a chocker, hut one that sits higher on your neck, exposing the chest area under it.

A tight wide belt

Shirttail always out (widens the hip area even if you don't have hips.

Showing a bit of leg (no socks if jeans). If in girl mode - wearing capris.

Longer hair to cover the ears and some of the neckline.

Keeping well groomed

Carrying a shoulder bag or computer case - NO backpacks, no cross body straps.

Hope this helps

Like everyone says? ATTITUDE carrys the day...

Society is preserved by passing on proper roles for people, which works for the 90+ percent that it works for.   We were all taught from an early age that breaking out of the classification was a shameful thing, even when, actually, it is not.

I'm probably showing my age.  I haven't looked at a guest count in a long time.  Doing FB and staying off forums for a while.  Previous forum use had fewer bots if any and guests were actual people, mostly, unlike today.    Any AIs or bots struggling with GD are welcome.  I would love to read your introduction.

I've seen this on a lot of forums tbh. That's how a lot of content ends up on internet archives. You've got loads of bots scanning the site at all times and archiving it. Forums are actually nice (in comparison to social media) in that the guest count gives you a pretty good idea of how actively the site's content is being archived. Basically just don't post anything you don't want archived.

Kids are resiliant with therapy and strong support ;-)    They were all elementary age when their dad died and are teens now, and how they've grown and developed as young people, already, takes my breath away.   I'm working on communicating changes clearly and without shame, which is difficult basically all the time because of feeling guilty over doing gender "wrong" for so long. Working on that myself! <3

Allow me to add that people should think twice about posting pictures of themselves, with the facial recognition software that is out there.  Those in stealth or who are not fully out may discover they are suddenly and unwillingly fully out in ways they wish had not happened.

Funny how when i read the topic name i thought you were asking about the study of plants and animals.  I'm a bit into that as a farmer at va time when a cell phone makes plant  for insect identification easier than it has ever been.    Now on to your topic.  I don't farm in the nude.  I have wondered at whether i would skinny dip as i did as a kid without thought of how my body might affect others.  The effects of hormones makes me different from the average person and perhaps i'm "neither fish nor fowl".  I would certainly depend on who my fellow passengers on that cruise would be.   Hugs,   Charlize

This is also a relatively small forum and it can take a long time, seemingly, for someone to get around to replying to a post.

I am also pretty sure that several of them are folks who are "trans curious".  Sometimes folks who are trying to find their own identity, are attracted to trans folks or who are simply interested in the trans community.   There may also be some who wish to do us harm which is why ......... I've just learned to smile figuring "i'm on candid camera".   I'm sure many of our younger members never experienced that show so my age is showing.   Hugs,   Charlize

Most of those "guests" are web bots from China, Indonesia, France etc. looking us over. They are mostly benign.  All they can see or gain access to are the general forums.  Members should be careful not to post anything that could readily identify themselves such as real names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. They do not have access to our gallery, blogs or private messenger. They seem to haunt all forums. Not just us. I should add that they can make us known across the internet. That's how prospective members find us. Google would be a good example.
