Guest EvenClose
I recently watched the movie the Runaways. Its about Joan Jett. I really liked the movie. I made me think and gave me a little peace of mind. Don't wanna go into detail incase someone hasn't seen it. But I will say that Androgyny and Trans are a big topic in the movie. So let me know what anyones opinions were or if you have heard of it. (>'.')> Link to comment
Guest Carden
Love that movie. Joan Jett and Sandy West (RIP) are two of the biggest musical inspirations in my life. Saw it in theaters and an older couple left within the first ten minutes because 'they didn't appreciate the bi-curiosity demonstrated by these fictional characters'. Made my night. XD Better than the people who said they couldn't get into Sid and Nancy because the characters were too 'out there'. They were/are real, you silly people. I agree, androgyny, trans, and sexual identity are a huge part of the film. Since it is about a group of girls who are finding themselves, in all aspects of their lives. I recommend the film. Drugs, sex and rock n roll, baby. Link to comment
Guest EvenClose
OMG your my hero. Sid and Nancy was EPIC!. I love that movie too. Of course Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas has personal value. But we won't get into that. lol Link to comment

Guest Ann Onymous
Not sure I would have said it was all about Joan...but the movie did rock. I remember when the band was still intact. I also have had the good fortune to have been able to play softball with both Lita as well as Joan...turned a double play in the second game with Joan when I was playing short and she was at 2B. She was a really cool chick to be around. The games were circa 1991 and 1992 when KLOL had the celebrity games in the 'dome that followed an Astros game... Link to comment
