Been Away Awhile

hey everyone. it's been awhile, hasn't it?

well. i've moved. i now live in Columbus. my sister and i moved out of our parents house (i'm sure they're glad to finally be child-free).

we've been here about 3 weeks, and are trying to find jobs...so wish us luck...

i'm still getting used to this whole new set up of the forum, so hopefully i'll be able to figure out what's been going on while i've been busy.

i missed all the info on when Sally and Lizzy finally moved in together, so i'm looking forward to some of that.

and thanks for the birthday wishes that i just now discovered.

Hey Leigh!

It is great to hear from you again.

Well you understand the dynamics of moving so we are still struggling with that (small apartment lots of big boxes) but New Orleans is a wonderful area - I work in male mode but I am full time everywhere else.

I'm sure Lizzy will drop by a little later to sy hi.

We have missed you so much - we need to catch up so post a few updates.

i'm very glad to be back myself. i've definitely missed you all so much.

Sally, my apartment is a wreck too... i think i've at least unpacked 98% of the boxes...after 3 weeks and nothing else to do, i think that's good..lol...

unfortunately that means that there is stuff on every surface.

i already have some weird stories about this apartment, but i have noted that everyone in the US who is poor is a minority in one way or another (i.e. race, sexual identity, etc..) since all of my neighbors are Latino, Black or gay. (now i just have to wonder at how intentional this is..?)

i can't really think of anymore "updates" but i'm going to try to be more on task on here, especially since i hope to finally get the ball rolling on my transition.

and, Dee Jay, i would LOVE to meet up with you when you are next in town.
