Drag King Dreams/stone Butch Blues

Anyone heard of these books? They're novels by long time transgender activist Leslie Feinberg that(especially Drag King Dreams) deal with trans issues. And they also deal with lesbian and gay issues, especially Stone Butch Blues. I would describe them, but a Google search will provide descriptions better than I could write out. :-) I highly recommend them to anyone in the LGBTQ community, and LGBTQ allies.

Read Stone Butch Blues many years ago. Feinberg is a great writer, but I find that most of Feinberg's books focus more on the struggle of the factory worker than they deal with trans issues. I went to one of Feinbergs speeches when I was in college, it had nothing to do with LGBT issues at all. Was all about activism for union workers and such. I was rather dissapointed at the time. I also find it rather interesting that Feinberg is content to stay somewhere in the middle of the gender spectrum and doesn't care to ID as either binary.

Well, Leslie is just as much a Communist activist as she is a LGBTQ activist. And yeah, Ze's genderqueer. Ze once lived as a man(Ze's female bodied) but after several years she now is genderqueer and has been for quite some time.
