What Do You Do With Your Day (Artwise)

I am not sure this is the best place to post this, but whatever, it can be moved =P

Anyway, I was just wondering how people spend most of their days, if they have free time to spare. I like to spend my time outside at the park and work on my art forms and mediums. Today I am about to stroll out in my new spiffy bondage skirt I just made and work on some stainless steal chain mail jewelry, draw up designs for my next skirt (plenty of black velvet to go around), as well as draw some flash art (tattoo designs). I have A LOT of tattoos all that are of my own design (makes it cheaper to do your own when getting inked), I might work on a comic strip or two since that’s one of the things I have been hired to do. I am just not quite sure which style: Manga or Ameri-con? If I get the skirt design done the way I want with the materials I have, I may begin working on that later. Anyway, just wondered what others may have planned in the art department.

PS: Who says a degree in Liberal Arts and Design (with a Major in Interior Design) can’t get you anywhere? I know having a minor in Archery doesn’t do anything for me BLAH!

Actually I like archery. I was 2nd place in archery in college, and found it to be challenging and relaxing. I am afraid the college party life (West Ga College, now known as The University of West Ga) got to my grades-it was also reknown as a party school. I found my paints and am making a good easel, so hope to have some work finished for the upcoming fair in these parts (Cotton Picking Fair in Gay, Ga). On another note, I painted my toenails, and while it tokk a good bit of time to get it done, I found the ezxperience gratifying and rewarding. I ned a lot of practice or some guidance with makeup and fingernail and toenail polish! I am working on wardrobe now… a lot to do!

One thing I seem to do allot of is sleep :D

But then I am getting old I guess :P

I do tend to spend way too much time on the computer every day ;)

Allot of it is here at Laura's Playground

Aside from that, I try and take good care of my kids , I have a boy @16 and a girl @15 .

Of course there is the housework  the never ending housework :banghead:

Anyway thanks for the topic Penumbra

I build plastic model kits I had in my childhood, draw portraits, and paint pictures of aircraft I worked on almost everyday... almost did it on monday, almost did it on tuesday, almost did it...

Seriously, those are all things I want and plan to do, but I'm so messed up in the head right now, I can't seem to get motivated. But soon.

I tend to spent most of my artsy time in classes with boring professors. I usually just start doodling random things and sometimes it looks like something coherent.

I teach theatre arts (which means I get to design sets, play with pretty lights, make-up and costumes and direct plays. And after all that? I write stuff. Need to write more of it...

When I have the time I draw in my sketchbooks, usually with ballpoint pen. My drawings are sometimes stand-alone pieces but more often than that they're just nonsensical doodles. I took a lot of art classes in college ( almost majored in design ) and it's such an important part of myself. Recently I've been branching out from the safety of pencil and pen and tried my hand at charcoal and acrylic paint.

In a nutshell, as long as I'm using my imagination, I'm happy!

I'm hoping to read the next section today.  Many of the reforms they are calling for are good, such as expediting the military procurement process, and have nothing to do with transgender issues.

Good afternoon,    I have a young friend who is vegetarian and married to a full on meat eater. They have two areas of their grill clearly designated for their different cooking requirements. When she’s cooking she uses tongs or chopsticks to handle any meats. When he’s cooking he respects her request not to cook her meals on the side where meat has been. They get along fine and respect each other.    When she attends our house, she usually brings her own food, but knows I will clean my grill to meet her requirements. We love and respect her commitment to be vegetarian. I love that she trusts me to make her comfortable when visiting us. There are ways to make it work.    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I was going to call it Numbness, then I realised well.. it isn't. basically, yeah, it isn't.   this only happens to me sometimes. I'll be lying down and my legs will.. well, I guess lock?   If I straighten them out, they will unlock- when I roll over again, they will lock again. this lasts for around 10/ 15 minutes I guess   it's not pins and needles either

so, a close friend wants to cook for me   the issue is, she is a vegitarian and won't handle meat- I, on the other hand, won't handle vegetables- hate the things   every time she goes out to the shop, she comes back with something.. a cake, a fruit smoothie, a coffee, I won't eat any of it. please help me think of something that she could make for me that I'll actually eat   disclaimer: you are talking to the most pickiest eater in the world. good luck

I think there is some truth in this.  They intend to implement Project 2025, whether or not he spends his energies persecuting the Democrats who have been persecuting him (in his view, a debatable point) and does nothing else.   I have seen numerous accusations that the document is about "Trumpism", whatever that is, and is merely a vehicle for him to become dictator.  From what I have read so far, that is the same sort of truth as the Steele Dossier, denying the validity of a certain laptop, Schiff's non-existence evidence of collaboration and a host of other things, many directly from Biden, that are simply not true.   I will continue reading it.

      Who, precisely, are "they"?

Wife of mine pointed out that not getting a haircut for a month looks hideous - weird bald patches.  So back to super- short buzz cut.  This morning I braced, looking in the mirror.  I look like a woman trying to pass as a a guy, maybe  a small-breasted woman with enough T treatment to grow a mustache.    I would not believe me if I read what I write about me.  This is nuts.   White t-shirt: that they sell in the back of WM so you can tie-dye them or otherwise decorate them. They are thick and long lasting and slightly fitted, so that they could be a man's.  I like them.   Jeans, flip flops.   I will no longer point out these are women's.  What else would I wear?

That is all that is necessary. I did the same thing. I must have gotten something wrong.

Quite right mate! I have been letting my hair grow out again (I cut it all off when I was 18).    I'll never look this good:    But I'll aspire to look my best! ☺️
