A Toast

Here's a toast to my past.

The good and the bad.

The months, years, and days.

A toast for all the days that went wasted,

Just cause how good the liquor tasted,

And all the memories made.

Here's a toast to my past.

The hurt and the laughs,

And the times I could have tried harder.

A toast for the fights,

The long restlessness nights

And the times I walked away before it went any farther

This is just a toast to my past,

To all the times I've been mad,

And put others in a world of pain.

A toast to all the trouble I've caused,

The friends I've lost,

And to all the new ones I've found a long the way.

Yeah, this is just a toast to my past,

To growing up to fast,

And knowing what it feels like to not have a home

A toast to people I was better off without,

To all the people who've ever made me the center of their doubt,

And learning I'm better alone.

Yeah, so why don't we all raise a glass,

And toast to my past,

We might as well make it a group thing,

Lets just toast to my past,

And all the times I've had,

But after this next glass,

I don't think I'll need another drink.
