Today I called a very dear friend on mine and told him what is going on for me. He is a very devote christian and I was really concerned on how he might react but I had to tell someone to make it real. His reaction was fabulous. He told that he loved me and would always feel that way, that chist loved me too. His biggest concern was for my well being and he cautioned me that I am in a very vulerable position right now and that there are many people who may want to push me in one direction or another and that I have to be really careful not to allow myself to be pushed.

I had expected rejection and I got love ...

Now, that is wonderful news to hear, Sharah.

Good for you, girl. You are lucky to have such an understanding and supportive friend.

Isn't acceptance a fantastic feeling?

.

Acceptance is the ultimate....

It's beautiful...

And he is correct...don't be swayed one way or the other to do or not to do....

This is the reason that we see a therapist...to figure out if, in fact, we really are Trans and need to go as far as transitioning...you've heard lots of wonderful people here tell you of their transition, and that's all well and good...

But, that was after they found out that they were Transsexual and needed to change...

No, don't be swayed...

Do your legwork...

That's a great post, Honey....

That's wonderful Sharah I'm very happy for you.

It's kind of odd that people frequently say something about not being talked into this by others. I think wanting someone to be trans-or to fit any predetermined place on the gender spectrum -would be the last thing any of us would want for someone. It's the reason we stress seeing a gender therapist. But I wonder why people thing it in the first place. It isn't like this is a club and we're looking to get more members

iyou wouldn't think Christians would accept trans people, but I find that not the case. Many love you for who you are and don't judge. Those follow what christianity teaches.

I am very happy Sharah that your close friend was so accepting.
