Breaking Out From The Past

How do I express to you

A past which

Being different meant

Daily abuse

In so many different forms

By those

Around me.

Where trusting another person

Has become

An act of the exception

Instead of the normal

By me.

Erecting multiple psychic walls

Encasing myself

While shutting out

Everybody else

Except for

A few people.

Want to trust others

But scared

To lower the walls

Should another person

Take advantage

During my moment

Of temporary weakness.

But Vanna, this has meant I have shutted out counsellors, whom are trying to help me, because of my lack of trust.

You have to trust some people some time i think

Just be careful, I think overall you will find goodness in most people

The sad thing is we tend to let one bad apple spoil the bunch )

Do what you think right, follow your instinct and of course your heart

You have a woman's intuition use it wisely

It's ok, Vanna. I didn't exactly say it in black and white, about that part of myself. This is a struggle, which I have to fight daily, if any closure is to come to me. And, it scares me, opening myself up and exposing these memories, which I have sealed behind years of psychic walls.
