  1. 1. Would you consider "Nightmare Before Christmas" to be a halloween movie or a christmas movie?

I've got friends that say that it should be considered a Halloween movie, and others say it should be a Christmas movie, what do you think?

It's a Tim Burton movie. That means it's worth watching 365 days a year, 24/7. Even tho he didn't direct it, he was still the creator and executive producer, among other things behind the camera. Anything Tim Burton is awesome. But when he works with Johnny Depp, you get pure Masterpieces.

All time movie... no doubt about it.

However, I do like to watch it at Christmas time more than I do at Halloween time, just cause it's different from the "normal" Christmas movie setting

I haven't watched it for a long time.. but Tim Burtons stuff always Reminds me of Halloween :D . His style is awesome, just such unique art work and imagination in his creations. Buty I have to agree that it soo good you could and probably watch it whenever in the mood.

Ooooooh I love this movie so much :)

How can you not watch it all year? Jack and Sally are sooo cute together and it has such a wonderful warm vibe to it, you can be sat watching it in the dead of winter and it will make you feel all cute, fluffy and warm

I did see the film after being a big fan of Oingo Boingo for a while so that is what made me watch the film, so glad I did, it is one of my all time top ten films now

I like to get some hot choc and some cake and close all the curtains, turn off the lights and get snuggly with my teddies and pretend it is Christmas outside :D

I think of it as halloween because of the movie itself but considering its title there have been several halloween songs that were later changed to christmas songs so...kind of a relation imo

THe Nightmare before christmas is obviously a movie aimed at christmas, but i dont see why you couldnt watch it in late november on the lead up to xmas. I like to think of it as a film set at christmas time, but i watched it in june last year which is neither christmas or halloween lol

so my answer is both
