Stuffing A Bra

So, as the title suggests, and due to the fact that I (and many others) cannot afford breast forms, any advice on stuffing a bra, techniques, materials, kind of like what's happened in the tucking thread, but for stuffing. Thank you!

Love,

Jade

If you can find these, they work well. Punch-balloons - the ones with the rubber bands? Buy two - blow them up to stretch them out. Then fill them with water, add a little dishwashing detergent to keep out mildew or mold, and tie the knot when the size seems right. Leave a bit of slack in them so they will fold against your chest. Pull the knot as tight as possible and cut off the excess, as close as possible to the outside of the knot. The knot simulates the nipple end. There you are - cheap breast forms.

I have an idea that I want to try but haven't had a chance to yet. It would basically be the same thing with water balloons except they would be filled with something thicker, like jello or some non-sticky syrup, which would help containment in case of catastrophe.

What I did yesterday was get measured. Found out naturally (I'm pre HRT) 40A. I was at Victoria Secrets and bought 2 of their add 2 cup size padded bras in 38 b/c.

All I can say is fabulous results, and no forms, etc to have to buy. It's not the best angle or pic, but to give you an idea of how one looked when I had it on last night. I was impressed with the results personally.

I wouldn't want to use balloons or the the like with liquid in case they broke. That would be a mess.

Perhaps a pair of ankle sport socks in each bra cup? Or, I don't know if they will make any noise but what about trying using something like beans or rice put in some stockings tied up and put in the bra.

Not to say it couldn't happen but I never had a water balloon break - in I guess - about 25 years. That is why I used the largest balloon size I could find, so it wasn't stressed. I tried jells instead of water but they were too slippery after filling and I couldn't get a secure knot.

Also - the silicone bust enhancers, you can find them under $60, if you research online. These last a long time.

The cheapest forms are stockings filled with rice or birdseed.

In an emergency, old pantyhose balled up work well. Some people also use socks.

I know a girl, she is on HRT and doing well, but likes to add facial tissues for a better profile. When she gets congested or has a minor spill - out comes part of tissue packing. She has to remember to use tissues from both sides, or she begins to list to port or starboard.

Since I'm a 40A naturally, I just wear a Victoria's Secret Miracle Plunge Bra in 38C (Wanted room to grow once I start HRT)

It works wonders. That's all I can say.

And one less thing to shift/fiddle with

Just another option

Jade:

If you can save even a few dollars each week or so, check out the Victoria's Secret website. Often, they will have padded, push-up bras on sale for as low as $19.95. This particular bras work really well to give you the look you want. Just a few days ago, my order for one of these bras arrived, and it works great! You might want to try getting one of these when you can.

Just an idea. Thanks.

Like Lizzie, I used a lot of extra-large balloons with water. Being extra-large means they are barely stretched, which keeps them from bursting. In addition, it also gives a nice jiggle, just like the real thing.

If any of you doubt us, get one, put a small amount of water in it, like to fill a B or C cup bra and then try to burst it. You can hurl it against the floor and it won't break. Naturally, poking it with a sharp object may do it, but that causes serious injury to live tissue and it's unlikely that you'll ever be in that situation.

I'll also vouch for the Victoria's Secret bras. They work, feel good and look natural.

I have a pair of purchased breast forms, I believe filled with a silicone liquid. Well, as I mentioned a while back, my car was rear ended and totalled and my forms were in the trunk and one was caught in the metal squoosh. And so did it, leaving about an inch rip.

Well, I first tried the rice trick (read about that once), but to get the same weight as the other, had to use too much rice and the filled form was as hard as brick. Tried a single balloon with water but couldn't get enough water in and get it formed right.

I've gone to three smaller balloons (if any single break, it isn't much), and while the weight is still below the one with the silicone at least it has the form and some of the give. Someone way back here recommended actually finding some kind of industrial silicone (not the stuff in tubes that you repair bathroom edges with). I sort of looked for that but not hard. Maybe I will some day. Water over rice, though.

I've tried the cloth (socks, handkerchefs, etc) idea but it's really only good in a pinch. And Lizzy, the tissue story, I saw in a very old Playboy cartoon, back in the 70's I think.

I started out with birdseed in pantyhose. Worked pretty well.

Then I got the nerve to buy some cheap inserts in the lingerie department of Walmart that GGs use to just add an inch or to fill out a bra. That worked well too and I figured since the GGs use them (but keep it a secret!) that was good enough for me.

So, for those curious, this is what I did in the end, though many other ideas still sound appealing, and I may try them in the future. I found out that my natural size is 34A, so I went to walmart and picked up a couple of 34A's, and a couple of 34B's. I also got some of the inserts Lizzie and Elizabeth are talking about-they work really well, and boost me up to a Bcup. I'm lucky to already have the breast tissue I have, I'm not really overweight, and I think my diet, really high in soy and soy milk is to thank.

Jade.

I tried the stockings and rice thing...I highly *don't* recommend it. It's very irritating to the skin and it doesn't shape very well. I bet sesame seeds would work well though, smooth and small, they'd probably shape easily under a bra.

I've seen cheap breast forms though, for fifty dollars, they'd make someone probably a b cup or so, depending on what they already have to work with. I had considered giving them a try. They don't have to be perfect for me, since I don't dress blatantly femme outside the home. I'd probably recommend the best way to go though, would be to measure yourself up and see what you already are, then get a push up bra with enhancement inserts. It would probably give you the most natural look without resorting to breast forms that will make you miss meals for 3 months in order to pay for them.
