The Lyrics set my musical bones ablaze, I feel like I can relate to it. Even though I prefer soft music!

Oh yeah Maria,

The one song that just sticks with me everyday, the lyrics just speak to me, the music just rocks, the killer slide guitar, the wonderful harmonies.

The first 4 lines say it all, Thank you Don Felder and Don Henley.

It is really quite obvious to me as I have been on a quest with results much like Don Quixote himself for love, meaning and a purpose for my life the two songs that come to me immediately are, "The Impossible Dream from The Man Of La Mancha and Chicago's "(I've Been) Searchin' So Long".

Both speak to my quest and my transgender issues, it let's me know that others have struggled with their problems as well and I feel less isolated.

"Summer Song" by Joe Satriani! It's an electric guitar instrumental that gets you going, no matter what mood you happen to be in. Shoot, where's iTunes, just mentioning it makes me want to play it right now...

I find "Rocketeer" by Far East Movement motivating. It's the hook always saying "Let's flyyyyyyyyy-hiiiiiiggghhhh. Up, up, here we go. Up, up, here we go." Keep heading upwards and never give up on things.

The only song I can think of that makes me feel alive is a very odd little song called "Under Varje Rot Och Sten" by Finntroll. There are no lyrics and it starts off slow but little over halfway it explodes with life and it just fills me with a giddy joy that no other song can.
