Hi girls!

Few days ago I had the most awesome day. My classmate invited me over at her place for a slumber party! She lives alone in a flat, and it was just the two of us there. I had the best time, because she let me try out all her clothes!: D And she has A lot of clothes... She knows about me, so it was just fine with her and she treated me as her girl friend. Later that evening we watched American Idol and ate popcorn, and talked about guys and stuff, and all kinds of girly topics.^_^ and then she let me sleep together with her in her bed as girl friends! That meant a lot to me, and I was happy just being accepted for true Me :-)

Here are some photos from that day:

Tell me if you think I could pass dressed like this at any all. Personally, I think I wouldn't.

Seriously-you pass. Easily. You are a cute girl and the expression and smile just radiate it.

Glad you got to have such a wonderful time!

How fun!

I had a couple female friends way back when I was in high school, who knew that I did things like dress on occasion and painted my nails (it wasn't a well known secret with parts with my inner circle at the time)

Anyway none of them knew I was transsexual at the time, heck I didn't even know myself until recently. They just thought that I had a fetish of some sort.

What I'm getting at is the following, in my yearbook one year, 9th grade I believe my friend Amanda wrote that I should spend the night with her so we could "paint our nails, play makeup party and do our hair"

Wish now I had taken her up on it!

As a final note, add me to those saying that you easily pass.

Looking good girl!

How very cool......slumber party.....

I'd love that, but, I'm past my prime...maybe if I had a couple of girls my own age to do it with....

Uh.....

"Oh, Lizzy...Sally...."....lol

Yes, you look really cute...easily passable in a physical way!....

I think you're just beautiful! I love girls with short hair! : D

And the only thing that seemed a little off was the way you were standing in the pictures. A lot of the girls I know will usually pose or something for a picture with like a hip leaning out and a hand on it or something, but everything else in your physical appearance was very passable. I wouldn't think twice about it if I didn't already know that you're trans.

Thank You so much boys and girls!:_) I only wished I could think about myself as "passable", but I just don't have the confidence and don't know how...=( Any suggestions on what helps You think beautiful about yourselves?

Dear Nostros,

I loved the story about the slumber party and I am glad that you had such a good time, you are indeed very passable, cute, beautiful and all of the other adjectives that the others have used to describe you.

Now you have asked the world's hardest question which has the world's simplest answer - The confidence has to come from within, that is the trick but here is your answer - think back to how you felt when you were with your friend - you were not thinking about about 'do I pass' you were just enjoying yourself and feeling good about yourself and you felt good - the big problem is holding on to that feeling all of the time.

You need to believe that you should have been a woman, you are a woman and that is what matters, not a movie star, a runway model, truck driver, meter maid - just a woman, we come in all shapes, sizes and looks - be you and that is all you need to do.

Believe in yourself!

Love ya,

Sally

There is only one way to get that confidence and that is to go out in public as yourself and see how the world will treat you like the Girl you are. Having a man rush ahead to open a door that you are both approaching for you will do miracles. Women have eyes in the back of our heads and we know when we are being checked out. It has given me incredible confidence being out and about as myself.

You are very pretty and while you are afraid that you might not be, there is a part of you inside that has always known you will make a stunning woman. Hold onto that little scrap of confidence and it will grow.

Next time you do a slumber party with her plan a trip out in public after you have gotten dressed. You won't be disapointed.

You've been looking in the mirror and at pictures of yourself practically all your life, and you've had people telling you - both things, that you're male. It's pretty easy to get into that mindset that whenever you look in the mirror or at a picture, all you see is what you've presented to others in the past. Did your slumber party friend look at you as male? Everything you wrote said, absolutely not.

What you have to do is stop thinking of yourself as male and start thinking of yourself as who you really are. And I hate to say it, but every time you put on male clothes, when you present as male, you will only be re-inforcing that image onto your self and everyone around you.

So, spend as much time as you possibly can presenting yourself as who you are - female. That means, go out, meet people, do things, shop, eat, visit, travel, work in the yard, clean your place, take out the garbage, wash clothes, go the library, the grocery, get gas for your car. Basically, just the every day things that you do, do them all as yourself. It's that image you have to beat back, and the more you present as you, the more that image will begin to slink away and not bother you anymore and your correct image will shine to the front, so everyone can see.

btw, I tend to prefer longer hair on females (and me when I'm dressed) but those are very attractive pictures of you, the style goes quite well with your eyes and your smile. Those really work well together. In those pictures you are presenting as female.

Haha yeah, maybe I should try it out - going out in public ^_^ That probably would boost my self-confidence... But I do "go out in public" now too - I mean all my clothes are woman clothes, but they're kind of unisex style, so I just look androgynous with them. It's funny actually one of my classmates sometimes wear the exact same clothes that I wear, and one time we came to school dressed exactly alike, and I came up to her and joked with her about that maybe she is trying to be like me:D

Thank you Chloë!

Well, I'm trying to take my "male image" down small bit by bit, In hopes that eventually, maybe 3 years from now, there won't be any bits I don't like about myself left. Everything I do daily is pretty womanly - Mainly because I go to cosmetology school, so everything we learn and do there is feminine. And when I get back home I usually have some girl friend come over and we have a tea party and just talk about everything, and then I do her a hand massage and do her nails (I'm already a manicurist), or we just watch some movie ^__^ But yeah there is still quite a lot of self-acceptance I need to do for me...

Thank You for you nice comments and compliments guys! I really didn't expect such a good and positive feedback! You made me feel so much better... really. Thanks! (hugs all)

Hey girl  I had a problem like you happen to me also. In my first year of estrogen I had a period where my level were good then they got really bad where my testosterone spike high.  I felt like you with all that disforia coming hard. Our bodies need time to adjust. The process is a real pain in the beginning. It levels out eventually and you don't even think about it. Hang in there hugs

      Biden's woke agenda?

I wonder if there will be law enforcement procedural shows coming this fall. I can imagine Law and Order: Genital Crimes Unit, or perhaps, FBI: Domestic Genitalia. Then again, maybe they will dedicate a CSI program about the dedicated members of the Oklahoma State Police Genital Screening Unit. Good to know that those Oklahomans have their priorities squared away.

Protections? Well, when they mandate that some who is transgender can get facial and genital electrolysis paid as it is essential to affirming care, or when they mandate and pay for facial feminization surgery, speech therapy/voice affirmation surgery, I will believe that the order is effective. One of biggest hurdles for many transgender individuals is the cost of care. I remember when my one insurance company tried to say that my speech therapy and voice surgery were "cosmetic". I remember when they blocked paying for my facial surgery. I remember the fight I had to get electrolysis. These procedures could save someone's life if the procedures help the individual successfully transition, and are no longer misgendered.

I don't think it should be.  Nor do I see Project 2025 as pushing Christian nationalism.

The agencies are supposed to work for him.  The problem, as conservatives found out in Trump 1, was they will ignore the president and do their own thing.  The agencies are supposed to be under his control.   Congress delegated some of its law making authority to the agencies, which is another problem.   The bloated federal government needs to be trimmed.  Dept Education is worthless - test scores have dropped since it was instituted in the Carter administration consistently, and it is currently implementing Biden's woke agenda more than doing anything else.

I hope to eventually wear a suit for dance but don't know what exactly to look for. I feel like jumpsuit is safe option but I have been interested in wearing button up and formal pants. Is there a certain brand i should look for or sites I should look at for tips? My mom is not exactly keen on me wearing too masc clothing like suits just yet but is okay with jumpsuits. Also is there hair styling tips availible, my hair looks like image below. I might be able to get shorter haircut like pixie but am not sure yet.

It’s never been about him, but he is the Presidential nominee for the Presidency that starts in…2025. I don’t see a lot of conflation that this is a “Trump doctrine”, it a doctrine that benefits him surely, but it is a plan to instill crony governance and enact very Christian conservative (if not purely Christian nationalist) “order” on the country. If you don’t see this as the Right doubling down on Big G government, I don’t know what to tell them. Getting rid of agencies and giving the authority directly to the Executive isn’t shrinking government. It’s consolidation power.

It is the made up ideology they believe trans people are pushing on the world, those “poor young girls who are being coerced into believing they are men” and the “perverts who put on dresses and think they’re girls”. The anti-LGBTQ+ movement came up with the term. Being trans = you believe in trans ideology/transgenderism, supporting trans people = the same.   In the end anyone that acts on or thinks gender is anything but what is in your pants is a “transgenderist”, why not make it a word if it’s not, there is no real grey area. Unless you acknowledge there is transgenderism, but use your knowledge to “correct it”.  So I guess there could be transgenderist conversion “therapists”.  Face it, we deface the America they want. Land of the Free and Home of the Brave? I think being out and queer is pretty brave. And freedom shouldn’t just be for those who push a narrow “Christian ideology” as the “true” governing model.

Rants are not a problem.  My favorite hobby! :)   What's out there is bad enough that I wonder why some people feel they need to embellish it.  Be alert.   Some of this will need to be fought in court if they try to implement it. If people are out to get me, paranoia is justified.  And this may not be the only document.   Abby

Not in so many words, therefore it's not there at all.  Excuse my paranoia. And the states passing laws against us are nothing to worry about either. Having to change my gender back to male (like in Florida) is reasonable.  I should just accept it, I mean I was born with a dk.  So that "F" is lie, and a fraud.  My delusions need to be dealt with for my own good.   I'm just frustrated these days.  Just a bit of a rant.

You probably remember the Target PR fiasco.  I remember reading an account from a woman who shopped there.  She went into a stall and did her business, and someone came into the bathroom and began swinging stall doors open, and when she came to her stall, the woman peeked at her through the crack. "What are you doing?" "Checking for perverts." The writer was so stunned by the absurdity that she finished up ASAP and got out of there, while the other woman entered a stall and locked it, made sure it was locked, and locked it again.
