Hi everyone

ok here goes...I am mtf because I am talking to you guys but female to my friends :)am just turned 64yrs, been full time for 3 of those and part time for many years before. I always felt that I was different but there never was an explanation for it really until I I met my last partner...now ex! prior to that I was married for 28yrs and have a lovely daughter. I am divorced but still friends with everyone I previously new so thats a bonus. Over the years I have got rid of three complete wardrobes of womans clothes so transitioning at least means I get to keep my wardrobe! even if its contents change quite frequently. I was due my GRS on the 11th March 2011 but it was cancelled due to health concerns, something I am now working on fixing, if it can be fixed. I like playing World of Warcraft ( well to lvl 20 anyway) and sometimes Second Life, soon to get a PS3 so I can play Final Fantasy and Avatar. I have an illness called M.E/CFS which complicates my life a bit. So there you are, a snippet of my life!

Welcome to Laura's!

While I don't have exactly the same thing I do have fibromyalgia as a component of Lupus and the exhaustion that accompanies it. I understand how much of a challenge it can be and how it complicates your life. We do have other members who have M.E/CFS and lots of gamers. I want to get a PS3 soon myself just for Final Fantasy. Can't bear that there is one out I haven't played yet

I just started on my transitioning and am also trying to fight my way back to better health. I hope you are able to overcome your health issue and reschedule your surgery soon.

It sounds like you will have lots of insights and experiences to share with us.

OMG that's too funny. I have a capped warrior named Fäq, (but have recently) quit World of Warcraft. I love to tank and I am very good! Good to see some other gamers here at the moment I am enjoying company of heroes and the left 4 dead games and some old favs include Civilization3 and sometimes the Sims.
