I really need to lose some weight, i have gained some weight on hrt, can anyone suggest ways to lose it im going to start trying to run,but i am so unfit lol

May I suggest that if you are overweight, and as you said unfit ,then you should really see a doctor first before starting a vigorous exercise program, and believe me running is vigorous exercise.

I'm unable to run due to an old injury but I have always heard that it is fantastic for depression and you have the added benefit of being outdoors and looking great.

It's definitely good for you. I've been doing it for almost eight years now, despite the fact that my allergies and other respiratory problems make it an agony after two miles or so.

Watch your knees, though. If you've ever banged one in your life the bones could be just warped enough that they scrape together. I went to the doctor a few weeks ago for a steadily increasing pain in my left knee and had to wear a brace for a while. It wasn't hard to identify the cause, since it was the same event that gave me a permanent bruise on the patella, but it blew my mind that it would come back to haunt me after so long.

All actions come with risks and stresses, but unless you wind up in some kind of weird situation like that, you should be fine, and even better for having done it.
