Matty I know for a fact that there are women out there just longing for nerdy flirting. Keep it up and you'll find them.

You know I just realized I have another problem. mentally I am not 63 in my mind. I can't conceive of flirting with any of the 60 something women I know. Flirting with younger girls is out-that whole dirty old man vibe is nauseating. Now 50 and 60 something T girls are younger in mind and outlook. Them I could flirt with but I don't know any in real life. My life was complicated enough before I realized this!

I have a problem with age thing too. Only for me it's that in my mind I feel a lot older than I am, people my actual age or slightly younger tend to be on a different wave length. Some see it as me saying I'm superior to them, saying I'm more intelligent, but really it's about the fact that they just seem on a whole other planet than me. They don't seem to have learnt many of the harsh lessons I have. That is not to say they haven't too had harsh lessons but it seems I've had more and so find myself feeling like I'm talking to someone a hell of a lot younger than me even if they are exactly the same age or a few months older than me. I often find myself being told "God you sound just like my father when you say things like that" and they're right I probably do. Because I can actually see it from their fathers point of view in most cases (not all) and they can't even consider what it might be yet, as they just don't have the experiences in life. This defo causes a problem when it comes to women for me. lol

Until 10 months ago I thought I was an asexual woman with a man's brain. I'm still catching up but I really do want to find out one day. If the women are worth it. Pretty sure I know the answer too

Speaking of nerdy flirting, if I decided to flirt, I'd probably end up using Shakespeare and video game references to flirt. I've tried that with my girlfriend before, but she just looked at me like I was a dork (it's not like I'm not a dork). X3 I actually used a World of Warcraft and Mario reference while flirting with her before. Didn't work so well, but I try.

I think that I do flirt sometimes I'm just not sure when it's happening. Most of my serious interests are friends, so I try to get in that area first. I have been known to use a couple of cheesy pick-up lines though, if I go somewhere and I need to meet new people. I'm not sure if that's related to my progressing transition or just increased confidence that I've had more recently. I do have the vice of flirting back when straight girls flirt with me. I don't know why, they're barking up the wrong tree but I'm so flattered I just can't help it. I tend to be a lot more charming and goofy. A weird combo, but I can't say the girls mind. Now I just have to get that to work on guys...

I've never had grace when it comes to guys. I'm extremely socially awkward in general, and it just gets worse around guys....perhaps this will improve as I start to pass more and gain more confidence in myself, but somehow I just can't see that happening.

It's just that I'm really really picky I suppose. It's also hard since I'm not 100% out and many people mistake me for a lesbian rather than a trans gay guy, also gay guys aren't interested in *motions hands to the curves of my body* "this."

I get the feeling though that if I was open enough and I found someone who was interested in me that I like that I wouldn't flirt with them, only be nervous as crap.

Although, if I were in a drag show (which I might in the near future) I'd be a kinky, huge, dirty flirt. >3

But yeah, I don't flirt because I don't normally tease with people who might take it the wrong way, either with guys who are like "whoa now" or "OHMYGOSH THE LESBIAN LIKES ME YESSSS" or the girls who actually do like me will take it as an invitation to kidnap me and throw me in their closet... T.T

I have flirted before, and I can do it pretty okay, but I'm usually oblivious to when people flirt with or have a crush on me which is a dangerous combination. ><
