So, I suffer from excessive body hair. ( darn my irish and polish roots) Ive heard that hormones will remove body hair ( not facial hair sadly). I have also heard that it wont. So i figure someone here might have the experiance to tell me which is true.

P.S Sorry to the board mods for my excessive posting. I finally got off my lazy bum and came in here *giggles*

it depends on your genetics. in most probability, it will. Generally, women have less body hair than men. But there are some women who have more body hair than some men. (Especially in the case of arm hair.) Hormones will just change your body hair to whatever it would have been if you were born with female parts.

I love that saying YMMV but its completely true were all different :P I am nearly a full B cup and Im not even on HRT yet and some people can be on HRT for 2 years and not get any breast growth I guess its the same with all the affects of HRT it varies from person to person.

Hormones can help hair, I know from personal experience. Over time they can lighten the color and make it grow slower.

I am very glad that this came up because it was a question I wondered about myself. I start HRT in May, as soon as I graduate college, and I have a horrible amount of chest hair and body hair. I'm already getting laser hair removal for my face but I am nervous that hormones won't do the trick. Here's to hoping and thanks for posting this!
