Breastforms

So I'm thinking of investing in a pair of breastforms... However they're quite expensive, and I'm wanting to know how realistic they are... For example, could I get away with a low-cut top in them...?

... I expected this post to be longer... Oopsy!

Hugs!

I have learnt quite a lot about Breast-forms after I did some research.

My best advice to start with is: if you have the money go to proper on-line store and they will get the best size, shape and skin tone for you. If you are on a budget try the ebay, buy new and in the UK. Dont buy from china or Hong-Kong as these can lead to some serious problems.

Choosing a size for you is probably gonna be the hardest thing to do. I bought a F size forms but these equal to 34F 36E 38DD etc. be carefull to get ones that look good for you body shape etc.

As far as looks goes, they look very real in a full support lace bra but I would never ever wear a low cut top as they would stand out a mile. If you bought expensive ones that match you skin tone you may get away with it a little more but can probable still see the seam.

Hope this has helped, msg me if you after anymore advice.

I bought mine from the breast form store and I love 'em!

As far as wearing a low cut top, not exactly because as soon as you bend down someone could look down your shirt and then they'd see the breast forms. However, it's possible if you already have some breast tissue of your own to work with. In this case one would put the breast forms in as usual and then lift them slightly and push your own breast tissue up and towards the center of your chest. This may make your forms rest more so towards the outer edge of your bra instead of in the center like they normally do. If done on both sides you should have your own breast tissue squeezed together at the center almost creating a line where the two meet. You could then wear a lower cut top that way.

It's kind of like what a push up bra does with padding.

Kaitlyn, the advice already offered is right on. I also bought mine at the BFS, and the quality was excellent. They felt the right weight, had the right feel, and fit well. The covering didn't tear or get discolored.

You could do a lot worse. As with most things, you get what you pay for. Oh, and in a bra, I thought they looked very natural, and so did my S/O.

I bought mine from the Breast Form Store. They are the same people that host this website for the server! So Laura knows who they are too!

You are not buying them for color you are buying them for the right size for you. You buy a masectemy bra from the website too (if you want) and you just place the breast forms inside the pockets so they stay in place. It is a good idea to have different bra colors. A black one might sound sexy but when you buy a white shirt it will show through etc. I bought a white mastectomy bra originally then black and the next masectomy bra will be natural beige. You could buy medical grade adjesive they sell at the breast form store and attach breast forms to your chest but that is a lot of work for wearing them on a regulat basis and you need to get them off eventually too! I want to try the adehdive some time though too it should be fun.

For me I bought some breast forms in a size that are in a average size of most cis women and that is equivalent to size b c range. I belive the onesIi bought were size 5 Gold Seal Premium and they are designed for the male torso. I bought mine several years ago. If you get something too big you will attract unwanted attention. They have a sizing chart on their website, a video etc. The best thing to do would be to email them if you were unsure, tell them your height weight and current chest size amd what look you want. For me i wanted to blend in with other cis women. Buy too big a breast form size and you will have trouble with some sweaters, shirts etc keep that in mind too!

The Breast Form Store video can be seen at this site. http://www.thebreastformstore.ca/breastforms-catalog.aspx

Like women who have had a mesectomy you wouldn't want people looking all the way down your shirt otherwise they would know your secret. Try different tops and see how you feel with the breast forms. If you have some flesh on your chest you could use some tape to pull both sides together to help create cleavage for lower cut tops for eg.

I hope this helps :-)

Hi Kaitlyn, I have silicone breast forms from the Breast Form Store. They look good and feel natural. Best money I have ever spent. Purchase

the right size for your body type so you look natural. I sometimes wear scoop neck tops and the forms dont show, real low cut tops would

be a problem. You can buy adhesive for your forms to keep them in place.

my girlfriend bought hers from the breastform store and she has a pair she bought off amazon and they both feel very realalistic and look it to. yes they can be exspensive but you wont be dissapointed in them and yes you can buy the addhesive that stuff helps the forms seal to you so you dont see a line through your clothes.

hope this helps if not let me know.

best wishes and best of luck.

I bought a pair from Janet's Closet and under clothes they are dead on. Unfortunately (and this is not Janets fault) I overestimated a little and I have a pretty sizable D cup now. They do fit my figure but they definately attract attention.

If you have a little bit of natural material to work with, just bend over and reach in under them on each side and pull up and to the center. That way you will have a bit of natural cleavage that sells them a little better.

I HIGHLY recommend getting a pocket bra for them though as otherwise you will need to use surgical adhesive which works, but gets a little difficult to maintain if you are in a hotter climate and sweat.

I'd love to have a dinner party with Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Voltaire, and Ayn Rand.  Would definitely be an interesting time.

In the forward I learn that transgenderism is bad, and somewhere else that transgender ideology is bad.  I have not yet read a definition of either in the document.  I assume they are the same.  I know Focus on a Family has a definition of transgenderism on their website, or did, but I am not sure this is the same as that.  I might agree that transgenderism is bad if they use a definition I condemn (e.g. transgenderism means you always pour ketchup in your shoes before you put them on - I could not agree to that).  Is someone who believes in transgenderism, whatever it is, a transgenderist? I never see that term.  There may be other definitions out there, but I don't think there is an Official Definition that we all agree to.

Crazy fact, was gonna go to the school where this went down at before I moved, have a lot of friends there. I know at least one of my friends met the guy on one occasion, not knowing who it was.

They are thinking of Loudon.  The problem there was the girls were not protected from a known predator, who was moved from one school to another instead being effectively disciplined.  Outlaw school administrators? <sarc>

How ironic.  I agree with the governor "“You cannot change your gender; you cannot pick your gender…there is a confused group of people that somehow think you can,”    - we are what we are, we are fighting the fact we CANNOT change our gender, which we did not pick.  Many if not all of us would not have picked a trans condition and have sought to evade, deny or move out or resolve it anyway we can.  Those who are confused on this issue are not trans folk.  They want us to change our gender but they deny we can.  Confusion.

@FinnyFinsterHH no one can satisfy your questions about what will the future hold. But I can advise you to slow your mind down as much as you're able. Take it slow and one moment at a time. This advice goes beyond the practical reality that that's truly all you can do - further, try to enjoy each moment. It's clear you have a lot of aspirations regarding transition. But it's best to try to accept the bounds of your life circumstances at present because if you develop worries or even resentments about them, that will only make you bitter and more anxious. Instead, try to focus on anything you find affirming. Practice positive self-talk and give yourself affirmations too. Try to let go of expectations of your family members - they can only deal with change to the capacity they're able due to their own life conditions. Allow them grace as you wish they would allow you. Practice patience.   Try this exercise - read through your post and make one list of the positive developments and another of things you cannot control (including the future). If you have a sense of spirituality, offer the second list as a sacrifice to however you understand a higher power - leave it in their hands. If you're not spiritual, then offer it up to hope. Then throw that list away. Keep the list of positives and leave some room on it because guaranteed you'll have more and more to add. Look forward to that, but don't let your mind think it can rush things. Try to enjoy the ride.

I still have not read much of this.  Very little of this document pertains to trans folk.  Some of the statements are more than problematic concerning trans folk.   It certainly was not written just to get us.   " those with gender dysphoria should be expelled from military service."  and "Reverse policies that allow transgender individuals to serve in the military. Gender dysphoria is incompatible with the demands of military service,"  https://static.project2025.org/2025_MandateForLeadership_CHAPTER-04.pdf are two lines out of hundreds if not thousands regarding the Department of Defense, targeting trans folk in an almost off-hand manner.    So if a fighter pilot, say, or a ship's captain, highly experienced and trained at enormous expense, is determined to be transgender (method unknown) the US loses someone badly needed due to the personnel shortage who is ready, willing and able to perform their duties.  Many trans folk have served well and transitioned later.  I don't think this point is well thought out.    A number of policy recommendations I would disagree with.  I am not sure there is a method to discuss those with the authors; I am attempting to find out.  I have good conservative creds.    They are fully intending to implement this, regardless of who the president is, as long as that president is conservative. It is not Trump centered.  I don't think he had anything to do with it.

I wear a Delimira Mastectomy sleep bra with Vollence sleep rated breast forms. The form fit inside pockets so they don't touch your skin. I bought the bras on Amazon and found the forms on eBay. They were much less expensive than buying through the other sources.

I don't wear a bra to bed.  The girls aren't big enough to need it, but still enough to appreciate.  Just a flannel nightgown suits me fine.
