I was curious are pantyhose okay to wear all year round? I love the way pantyhose make my legs look. I see all the women bare legged with skirts here in the spring time. I like the pantyhose such as nude they cover my legs blemishes and just make the legs look good in the daytime too.

Is it okay to wear pantyhose with a skirt in hot weather?

Yes

I live in the deep south and it gets really hot here. My rule is to wear pantyhose when it is appropriate - like when you go from an A/C house, to your A/C car, to an A/C building - and are in a dress or skirt. But it is also appropriate here to go bare-legged to most places, even if in a dress or a skirt. The exception? Semiformal or Formal dress, like a wedding or reception for the Queen.

So if I'm out and about walking around downtown in the daytime fo women wear them in the summer to smooth out the look if there legs. I was just thinking opaque white tights black ballerina shoes a short black skirt and a striped top. God I love fashion and dressing up. :-)

Agreed - hosiery makes you legs look DYNAMITE!

You are in colder country I see. If you love wearing pantyhose, yes! Do so...

I would not wear pantyhose in the Summer unless I was in an air conditioned building all day. I wore pantyhose out once on a hot day when I was young. I was very hot and unconfortable; will never do that again.

Well, I live in the burbs of Seattle, so we wear some kind of hose 9 months out of the year. I'm starting to see bare legs on the streets, but it's still like only a quarter or so (or less) of women wearing a skirt -- at night, anyone wearing a dress or skirt will be wearing hose.

I'm going to a formal party on Saturday night, and I'll wear some kind of nude hose to that (dunno if it'll be pantyhose or just stockings -- still thinking about my outfit). Unless it's late summer, if I'm going to a party at night, I'll prolly have some sort of hose.

I see a lot of "career" women in business suits and dresses even during the summer with hose on, but remember, in Seattle, it rarely gets over 90 even in August.

.

I've worn panty hose in the hot summer and I swore that I'd never be that uncomfortable again! *whew*

You can sweat up a storm and that kinda negates any good looks the pantyhose gets....lol

Bare legs for me most of the time (especially since I live in New Orleans now...)

87 degrees now - going to 90. Low tonight 70. (VERY pleasant) High tomorrow and Sunday - 90 degrees projected. Spring is slowly going out the back door and soon summer will be here. We do get high humidity in the summer but it isn't here yet. Its when the LOWS here are 85 degrees it gets uncomfortable. We rarely get over 98 degrees in the summer because we get so much rain in the afternoons.

I have on Capris and sandals, and a tee-shirt, (em... and braless) and my hair in a ponytail so it is off my neck - I have no desire for pantyhose right now, maybe I will by the end of October!

Nice that spring is coming your way though!

LOVE the p-hose and thigh highs, but it is ususally way too hot in Florida for them. In winter though, combined with a short slip under the man pants--heaven!

I was really lucky when I gave up smoking. I just decided one morning that I just didn't want to smoke anymore. That was back in 1996. The silly thing was, I still had a couple of packets left I and used them up! After that I only 'borrowed' less than a handful in the months after that and I haven't missed them since.

Our Maltese daughter-in-law makes a very mean Bolognese sauce, which we combine with spiral pasta. We pulled some leftovers out of the freezer for tonight's meal.   Tomorrow night will be chicken Kiev, with potato segments baked in the same dish, accompanied with boiled peas and broccolini.

I suspect some of these people are not primarily LGBTQ+ but primarily get their kicks by publicly shocking other people.  They take advantage of the parade and think they can get away with it year after year, and sometimes do.  Not just the parade, but sometimes other events that provide cover for them to act this way. They do a great deal of damage to perceptions by the public and by the legislators against us.

I used to smoke many years ago.  Now it makes me sick on my stomach which I consider a plus.

I use a electric kettle and a French press.   I am not a fan of Starbucks.  I sometimes go to a local coffeeshop, but am satisfied with your basic coffee and a scone.

Many "red" or "blue" states are not monolithic.  NC splits something like 49-51.  Actually, about 1/3 Rep, 1/3 Dem, and 1/3 nonaffiliated.     Since the legislature makes the districts, they favor the Rep to a 1 vote super majority.  Our Governor is Dem, and Dems can win statewide elections.   Of course you'd never know that with what is coming out of the statehouse lately. My point is that the "shifting" is not really shifting, it only reflects the actual population of the state.   When I was growing up I used to hear it said that "changing her mind was a woman's prerogative."  I embrace that.  I am fine with changing my mind when I want to.  Things change, sometimes we need to change as well.  I don't consider that as "unstable" - just not dead yet.

Good morning everyone,   I’ve been working on a few projects and my internet screen time has been very low. Today is Primary Election Day for Indian voters. I will be voting later, but the most important thing I’m looking forward to is the reduction of political advertising. Let’s get back to regular daytime advertising which reminds me of the need for hearing aids, Medicare choices, and comfortable catheters. Heaven forbid I would need an accident injury lawyer to get me the big check. Only daytime TV can take a 30 minute show from the 1980s and make it into an hour long series. I really don’t watch that much TV because I prefer to listen to music while I’m in the shop or doing yard work.    The coffee is good, the morning songbirds are loud as they forage for their hatches.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
