Help Removing... Stretch Marks...

Hello everyone. The title is pretty self explanatory of the problem I am having.

I don't recall having stretch marks when I was younger, of course I wasn't really looking. Never had to worry about having to look good in a bikini (Not that that is why I am asking for this anyways). I had tried to transition once prviously and lost a lot of weight to do so. Since then I have gained it all back plus... quite a bit. I have noticed that since then I now have a lot of stretch marks.

I am looking into many products to help remove them. I've done quite a bit of research on this subject but it's hard to tell where the product reviews are coming from, so I decided to ask you guys and gals here. Any experience with this? Any products that helped reduce the visibility of scars and or stretch marks for you?

Unfortunately I also scarred up my face quite a bit using a home electrolysis machine. Since having professional electrolysis for a few months now my beard hair is really thinned out and some patches are totally clear, but you couldn't tell for the redness and scars remaining from 4-5 years ago after having used a home electrolysis machine (As directed mind you, if not excessively).

Right now I am looking at Bio Oil, which is a very affordable product, over the counter. I've heard a lot of good things about this product, and I've seen some bad, like that some of the ingredients in it would actually prevent the absorption of the ingredients intended to remove scars and stretch marks, etc.

A last resort would be something like Trilastin, a $200 for an alleged 2 month supply (I say alleged because I doubt what they call a 2 month supply would last me 1. I have a lot of skin area to cover...). The good thing is that it does have a 60 day money back guarantee, but I would imagine there are a lot of stipulations on this "guarantee".

As far as surgery goes, that cannot even be hoped for at this time. There is no way I can factor it into my budget. At present I am saving $650 for the bloodwork, etc necessary to restart HRT since I have to see a new endo and I've been off HRT since late 2006.

I am more than willing to use a product coctail as well ^^ I have heard that cocoa butter based products work of course, but my grandmother has told me that it didn't work for her. Unfortunately I have no other close relatives I can ask about it. I imagine if my mother has any stretch marks she's not self conscious about it. I mentioned it once before and she said they just go away... no... no they don't. ><

My skin tone is very light complected. You can kind of see a picture in my profile.

As far as my facial scarring goes, I know it's easily coverable with make up. so as much as I hate that my desperation did that to my skin I am not stressing that, though I really didn't want to wear so much make up ><

I know this is also one of those, your mileage may vary kind of things but I'd really appreciate the advice, or word of members here on products since it's so hard to tell what is trustworthy online and what is not.

Apparently the most important thing is the massage; I haven't tried it 'cause I'm lazy (I also have stretch marks =_= lots of them), but scrubbing + rubbing something like cocoa butter seems to be effective from what I've read; the most important thing isn't what you use both for scrubbing and massaging, the important thing is the motion expecially of the massage (scrub helps remove older skin so you can take care of the skin under it...)

Try using Bio Oil it works wonders and its cheap. i use it all the time and so does my girlfriend.
