Uh,.......while i keep searching-the T & C make this a challenge in some ways guys....here is a start. I'm a jelly Belly fan

manlyjellybeans.jpg

This Jelly Belly chart made me lol hardcore.

What makes me feel manly... well, I'd have to say #1 would be my job. I'm a sound engineer, a field dominated by men. There's not a single female on staff at my workplace. It requires heavy lifting in hot summer weather, technological prowess, and a lot of elbow grease.

My favorite bug? Back in Oregon, we had these gigantic beetles that had stripes down their shells. I thought they were awesome. I used to catch them as a kid in those little bug-catching kits you get for Christmas.

I also feel really manly while working on vehicles and coming out covered in grease.

This is a lot of fun to read through, what a great 'challenge.'

I'm still laughing to death over those jellybeans, thanks JJ.

Yesterday I stayed home sick from work, and spent the whole day in my boxers playing Infamous. Best day I've had in a while.

Also, I just moved into a new place and had the opportunity to go through fun stuff that was sitting in my closet. I still have all of my LEGOS (mostly Star Wars and Bionicle), and every single TMNT figure ever made in the '80s and '90s.

Oh, and I just took a shower so I smell like Axe: Phoenix and it's fantastic.

Michael,

Music is just awesome. I keep my sanity through Collide, the Agonist and such. You should check out the 300 soundtrack. Definitely a must for the gym. :)

Also:::: Dancing is NOT a weird manly activity. The physical experience of activating your muscles and creating all of that tension is a magical experience. Dancing is meditative and helps me get more in tune with my body. Guy or girl I would guess that the experience just really helps one feel more aligned and in tune with their musculature. Besides, male dancers are kind of hot (Hugh Jackman [aka Wolverine] and the guy who played the Red Pyramid in the Silent Hill movie are both dancers.).

<3

Amy

I think I'll have a look at all of the music you mentioned here, Amy. I have a feeling you've got a pretty good taste in music. ;)

No, I suppose it isn't, but it's a passtime often associated with women. Then again, the best bellydancers I've seen so far are men, which is completely awesome.

Hugh Jackman is a dancer?? *gets very strange, but amusing, mental images* I'll never see Wolverine the same way again! But you're right, male dancers are hot.

Ah, I have to say my job makes me feel manly too :D

I work in a movie theatre, and I'm usually the usher. Usually (at our theatre) the guys Ush more. Mostly because of stock, it's up the stairs and on the opposite side of the building and the boxes are all huge and heavy. But I'm always the one moving the stock upstairs and into the stock room :P And another reason it's usually a guy's job is for kicking people out of the theatres :P Most of the girls are either too shy or too polite or just not intimidating enough to kick someone out if they're causing trouble, but I'm always the first one the managers ask.

And I guess my coworkers too, they make me feel manly <3 Whenever I'm working with the guys, they always treat me like a guy, they never consider me a girl. And they always say I'm more of a man than the rest of them :P We're all super close.

Man, I frigin love my job ^_^

Holy ****!! Even better! Now I can just imagine Wolverine doing "Singing in the rain" if I need to be cheered up. Insta-happiness!

Sup singly, a superintendent prevented a student within the transgender community from changing current name, to the new name in which the student identifies with, I don't know how far back this story goes, but if you Google it under Oklahoma along with "student name change" the article should pop up. I'm not transgender, but I can relate to the process of legally getting a name change done, it's a lot of paperwork from court, a lot of traveling, and expenses depending on the laws from each state.

No one seemed to pay attention to me other than a young woman who complimented me on my skirt and an older gentleman who smiled at me as we passed each other.

Wow, I guess it’s the dat to be in trouble.  I’ve been hit twice by the ASM today and it’s my day off.  Why didn’t you, followed latter with a where is the.  Made me realize that I do t want to continue working long enough to pay for it. I guess I’ll just to have to stick with my 20 year old car for now.   I suppose sooner or later only one of us won’t be able to drive anymore.  Since I am older you might think it would be me but at this time i am the one that does all the driving except when she goes to church or the store when I’m at work.  She hasn’t driven anywhere since February and hasn’t driven more than 10 miles in perhaps a year.  Yet the “good” car was purchased for her not for me because she couldn’t drive the Jeep which we bought strictly for her because she wanted it.  But it turned out I was the one that really liked it.  Can’t win.

Had one like that one time that would bite you on occasion.  Got rid of that thing quickly.

Good morning :)   I have coffee today, but the cup keeps leaking (I guess the cap isn't able to fully seal or something), so I keep having to wipe up the sides lol   Almost finished all my missing work for school, which means if I do a bit more work, I should be out of trouble with my parents (not even that bad of trouble compared to when I was younger, more just an annoyance haha)

Sending good thoughts for you, Raine.

Good morning 😘   Finished packing up my kitchen and pantry for fumigation today. I also modified my backpack to make it day-centre compliant.  I was able to get almost 2 hrs sleep last night, so I'll survive. 😑

I'll be going to some Pride events as a spectator.  Maybe marching in a parade if they have open participation.    The event we'd prefer to go to is held in a small town with a population of less than 600.  They have a parade through all three blocks of their downtown area.  Unfortunately, this year it is on the same day as a memorial service for a friend who passed away this winter, so we'll have to miss it.  So our second choice is a larger town, population about 9000, a bit farther away.    And we are keeping our eyes open for other events in the general area as they are announced.   I dress a bit flashier than normal, with some trans bling, such as rainbow or trans flag earrings, a trans symbol pendant, and a handheld trans flag to wave.  Political sentiment is turning against us, but public sentiment here is still strongly on our side, so getting out and showing the flag, both literally and figuratively, is important.
