Nipples

.

The nipples themselves don't really seem to get bigger for most...

But, I've seen many cases where the areola increases in diameter....In including me and my two room mates...

Amber,

As has been said so many times, everyone reacts uniquely to HRT. Somethings are more common and some are less common, but everyone will react in their own way. There are no hard and fast answers to your questions, only ideas of the probabilities of any certain charactistic.

Honey, when you transition into womanhood, your body does too. You will react to HRT pretty much as a girl going into puberty. Girls have variations as they mature into women. Transpeople will too. We cannot tell you what will happen other than that.

I have definitely gotten bigger nipples. Quite a big bigger, in fact, and Aereola as well. I would say...the nipples are probably about twice as big as they were, maybe a touch less, and the aereola about the same, twice as big as before HRT. Not as big as if I were born with a proper set to begin with, but I'll take it. Now if only the rest of my breasts would catch up.

I should mention too though that I gained a fair amount of body fat over the past year, in large part due to my horrible diet, and that may be a significant factor due to stretched skin, so I won't say for a fact that it was entirely due to HRT.

Yep, bigger for sure! More projection and thickness starting early on and still growing...

Once the nipples get to the 'puffy' stage, you will see even more expansion of the aerioli, too.

Of course, your mileage may vary, but so far I am pretty happy about the changes!

Your aerioli will grow in diameter, but only a lucky few reach the 'fem' range. =) But some natal females end up with small aerioli anyway, so they'll be less of a concern than breast size for most of us.

Niple increesed a tab bit but the aerioli went from about dime sized to between 50 cent piece and silver dollar sized. they grew/widend big time. Fromwhat i have read is that on average trans woman will not gain much in the nipple and aerioli department . but as they so love to say here your mileage may vary....

Three months into low-dose HRT and my areoli have doubled in diameter...

Forward projection is almost double also...

The diameter of the nipples themselves has almost tripled...

Be advised that I have an intersex condition that is likely contributing to rapid growth, so ymmv...

7/6/2009 Areola circumference L = 0.75" R = 0.73" with a caliper good to 0.015" tolerance First day of HRT

Nipple protrusion L = 0.33" R = 0.34

Nipple circ = protrusion on both

8/25/2009 Areola circumference L = 1.12" R= 1.2"

Nipple protrusion L = 0.37" R= 0.375"

Nipple circ = protrusion on both

02/15/2012 Areola circumference L = 1.12" R= 1.12" 31 months on E, 20 months on T blockers

Nipple protrusion L = 0.35 R = 0.35"

Same caliper measurement for each time. So I am a little too precise. Ymmv. I am very happy, and my actual breast tissue has migrated from under my armpits to the front of my chest. AA minus cup to very full B cup.

I'm a masculine woman. It's not about masculinity though. It's about expanding what it means to be a woman.

It never rains but it pours.  We had a dry spring, but now my garden is a swamp and my yard is a pond.  Get off the gravel road, and you'd need a hovercraft.    With nothing better to do, I'm going on a short trip with my husband tomorrow.  Since he's in management he usually doesn't do this sort of work, but whenever he does I usually go along.  And he already knows not to try staying in a hotel, because I want to sleep in the bunk in the truck.  So much more cozy.    And for a couple of days, GF can actually take care of her own kids instead of leaving them to me....

I have played clarinet, but without talent.  And while I *can* sing, I think listening to it would be an acquired taste.

Something that would help is reducing salt intake which causes the body to hold water and causes inflammation, another thing would be to add cardio to your exercise routine. Lowering your overall body fat will affect your face appearance. Hope this helps :)

Hi Sally, okay I'll head on over to your post and check out your makeup techniques.

Hey all,   It's been a while, but I blogged a whole series on makeup.  It's an eight-part series where I talk about my techniques.   Here is the link to Part 1:       Hopefully the blog series is helpful.

Oh, I can relate to that one Vicky, leaving lipstick in hot weather  I've lost count how many times I had to purchase new purses.

Thanks for the replies, as an admin from my own group I understand the same rules, agreed.

I do spoken word acting, and give Trans 101 talks and other public speaking.  I wear make-up for those occasions.  Sephora is easy for me to get to, and has a foundation that does a good job for me and the sales folks there are Trans Friendly.  Their eye shadow pallets are also fun to use. Another source of my foundation is Ulta which carries Dermablend that does a consistent job of my lower face and chin.   I just use good old Revlon lipsticks because I ruin them by leaving my purse in the hot car too often.

I'm not interested in makeup, jewelry or nice clothes or girly stuff.  It's made me wonder at times.   It saves some money.  If I wore a skirt it would likely  be denim.  I thought about a woman's skirt suit but nah.   Neither of my sisters are into that stuff either.  One likes peasant chic (still a 60s flower girl)  and the other - the only time she has ever worn a dress was at her wedding.  Jeans at all other times.   Jeans and t shirt here.  Content being a girl.  Weirdo. Weirda? Never mind.

@Ladypcnj Before posting links to other group's websites, PM one of the Staff (preferably an Admin) and have them check that site out.   We have specific rules here regarding age appropriateness and would need to know that the other site is in line with those rules.  We do have members here between 13 and 18 and other sites need to be safe for that age range, legally and otherwise.  Also, we are not a dating or pick-up site, not do we allow people selling things to advertise here.  As I said clear the link with a moderator or admin before posting it.  Mod's and admins do check out posts and if we find problem links we will remove them and notify the OP of a rules violation.  Go to https://www.transgenderpulse.com/community-rules to understand where we are.

I raise my hand in the group, I have a question and a suggestion... is it allowed to share other new lgbtq+ website links here?
    • Ladypcnj
Yeah, ELF is a good brand, another brand is Revlon ColorStay last 24 hours.
