Do Shoulders get less broad?

Everyone has been telling me how big buff and manly I will become and its freeeking me out. Will all of that be fixed or changed with hrt? Will my shoulders become less broad and how long will that take.

I saw a M/F transition pics. Before she looked like a body builder. Huge arm muscles, big neck, wide shoulder. After a little over a year you would never believed she was even a man. After seeing a whole bunch of video's on youtube I can tell you hormones do there job. Not as fast on some people, but in the end you will look like a girl. And remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder. All woman are beautiful in one way or another. It would be really bad if we all looked alike. Wouldn't you say? I have no idea what I will look like and really don't care to much. Because I know I am a beautiful person on the inside and my outside will just complement my inside. Love thy self.

Probably not a whole lot. Bones don't change. There will be some muscle loss that will make them look narrower.

That is my experience....

The bones are a constant.....

BUT! Depending on the fat and muscle that you have in the upper arms and shoulders, there can be a lot of difference...

There was in my case....

It was a combination of losing weight and losing muscle mass....made a BIG difference in me!

Good luck!

I have the classic male "V" shape. Wide shoulders and narrow hips. 28inch waist and 44 chest. Ugh!

When I started hormones I started a diet. BIG MISTAKE!!! Huge. I lost the weight, all fat. Instead of the muscles coming off, the fat wasted away. My whole life I tried to accomplish that and when I didn't wNt it, that's when it happened.

I started a high(er) fat diet and lowered the calories.

After almost 4 mths I have lost some muscle mass in my arms. My legs are still huge, always will be, but I'm a biker so I'm good with that. The shoulders.... Nada, goose egg, zero, still huge. They do not sell 44a cup bras.

I can only hope.

Just a quick note for girls with wide chests-they do make bra extenders which hook onto the end of a regular bra and make it several inches longer. Makes all the difference.

With the added fashion sense :P you will get from HRT, (Not Really!!) you will find plenty of cute outfits that will de-demphasize your shoulders, which will not skeletally change. Blouses with interesting necklines showing off your upper chest area with your new boobs hinting out will pull the eyes off the shoulder breadth too. Along with the clothing, your hairdo will also pull attention from your shoulders to your face, with a sweet lovely smile on it. Thats just how it is.

Your bone structure won't change but the musculature can change in such ways that you seem less broad. Reduction in your lats and delts would help with that.
