I Have To Break My Promise

I promised John Chiv that I wouldn't post any she peed stories like new mothers might be tempted to do on facebook or twitter, but this is something I just have to share.

I had all afternoon appointments at the VA today and inbetween them I was able to take Chessy out for walks so she could gets some nose time in the grass smelling rabits and such along with taking care of other usual functions. After the last appointment we went to the nearby dog park so I could reward her for being such a good girl all day. The park is along the Mississippi river and I have been encouraging her to go swimming. It was such a hot day so I decided to wade in up to my thighs because I wanted her to swim to me. It has been a slow proccess getting her to swim and she really did well today. She went out fifteen feet from shore and retrieved sticks that I through in for her. That was a terrific breakthrough because she had to swim with her mouth open. After we left the beach she did her buisness one the way back up the hill to the parking lot and so I figured she must be good for the rest of the afternoon.

There was a Twins game this evening and so the first train that came buy was packed full and I wasn't going to get on. I was having a nice conversation with another woman on the train and we decided to go the other direction to go in front of the crowd and then come back. Well neither one of us was in a hurry so we satyed on and went to the Mall of America. It was very hot and A/C sounded good to the both of us. When we got to the mall we separated and I headed to the theater. Now the Mall of America is gigantic inside. The walkways are wider by twice what a conventional mall's are and some of the floors are stone tile, much like the granite sidewalks on Nicollet mall in downtown. (Its a bus only street for 10 blocks with retail shopping on both sides and the street is heated in the winter so the snow doesn't build up.) Well Chessy got confused and thought she was out doors and peed on the nice white marble not far from an escalator. I only carry poop bags and nothing like this has ever happened. My only choice was to walk and find help I went up a floor and went into a marshals and asked the customer service desk to call maintenance and left there and walked a hundred yards and saw a maintenance worker and reported it to him. I was so embarassed! People were watching but no one offered to help a poor girl out. Anyways I did my best and went to my movie and we enjoyed the rest of our night. She sat on my lap and snuggled with me which she never does at home. The thought of her eating some months old food on floor grosses me out.

Sorry john! I hope this is the last pee story. She must have drank half the river swimming with the stick.
