So tonight I decided to ''suck it up'' and just, say something.

It went down a little like this.

~pleasantries~

Me: Gotta tell you something

Her: Oh, lord, is it good or bad

Me: Neither, it just... is.

Me: Blah blah gender stuff blah blah link to Queer101 comic

Her: Oh, okay, for a moment I thought something happened. Nah you've always been my sister and will continue to be.

Unconditional love, right?

I then told my other friend, and the conversation went just about the same, except she admitted to jealous of my hair.

So far, so good. All the important friends to me know, and have accepted me.

But, lets not get comfortable! Time will bring to fruition true feelings.

Love, Maria.

Hey Maria,

It is good that neither of them had a major reaction, that usually means that it is not something that frightens them.

Only time will tell is true about friendships whether Gender Identity Issues are involved or not so enjoy the time that you spend with your friends - it is precious and makes wonderful memories.

Love ya,

Sally

Maria,

Glad the coming out went well so far. It's good to be realistic as you are being but give yourself credit for the wonderful young woman you are. We see that and it seems so far others feel the same way.

Yea Maria! you have such a special personality that shines here and I would be more surprised if you did have a problem with your friends.

But that doesn't make me any less happy for you!

This is excellent, Maria Girl.

Rock on in honesty and truth. Your world will roll.

Like the others say here, give these issues time. People may eventually vary in their opinions, but it's nothing to worry about. Actually, you'll be just fine. You'll see.

PROUD OF YA!

Peace & Hugs :friends::friends::friends: Loco Lacey
