Awkward/embarassing Question...

Well how do I start?...I've noticed a few recent threads about sex drive and T and all that, and since we all ended up talking about "taking care of business" at some point in most of these threads, I have this burning question in my mind, although I don't really know how to word it..lol...ok basically i'm trying to wrap my head around the concept of how i could possibly not have any trace of male anatomy in my body, if, when I..um.."take care of business", it's always in the way a male would do it, never a female..and this is going to sound even weirder, but it's been that way since I was around 3 years old (yes i was that young )

but not to get too detailed..actually, to avoid detail as much as possible...i'm talking about it terms of the way it's done, especially positioning and everything  but yeah..just wonderng if this is something common or if it's unusual and may indicate something physical in addition to mental male characteristics..thanks if you actually read through this with a straight face lol

lol, I know exactly what you mean. Yes I do it 99% of the time the male way. That's because we are men. To do it the other way feels un-natural. The only reason I ever even tried it the other way is out of curiosity.

i actually DID get through your post with a straight face. :)

Ive gotta pretty much go with Sergei on this one. As far as position is concerned.. for most of my life Ive handled my business as a male would. yes of course ive tried it the other way.. mostly out of curiosity..but also cause of er uuh.. well...ok..think of it as me aiming for my female-bodied prostate. i could never really get it myself but someone else has before. which is what made me think to try. aww geez.. this is way too much information about me...sigh... the things I do/say to help other people.

anyway..something else id noticed over the years is that when i tried it the other way i never really got any...results. i HAD to do it the male way to ... enjoy myself. this probably has a lot to do with me identifying AS a guy.. why not do it the RIGHT way?!

Yeah, I do it the same way males do. Well, it is who I am and it comes natural to me. :D:rolleyes:

I read through your thread but I couldn't help laughing.

Yep, the way guys do, and now with packys and such it's so much easier! Though in the past dildos worked also as an extension of myself. Even as a kid. I too tried the girly way but really could not make it work. I used to think I was just weird. At least my waste-of-money ugly-as-sin Lola-Jake got some action yesterday.

Yeah, I always do it in a male way, I long ago found a system that is typically male in position. I agree that the only reason I ever tried the female way was curiosity but its uncomfortable and its not enjoyable (also the direct reminder is a real turn-off). The results are also poorer! Not worth the effort or discomfort.

biologically it makes sense. um...how do i say this....you already got what you need in a way  so it would make sense to um..get better results that way. i dont really "take care of buisness" unless to just to remove libedo from my body, so i feel less like a guy. wierd, i know, but it doesnt exactly, you know, feel good  but it gets rid of the drive, i cant explain it anymore without laughing, but it sounds like it makes sense. i never even thought about it like that before, thats kind of interesting.

I didn't realize at first that I was doing it "the male way". Weird.

Guys, I am such a naughty "looker" pre-T, I wonder what will happen with me. I walk around in sunglasses just so people can't see where the eyes drift. Girls are just....so....pretty. Me like.

Yeah...I think I might be the one that girls' mothers warn them about. ;)

huh... I never considered the idea that it would work any other way... I just figured the whole female part of the anatomy was basically for conception purposes only.

I cant WAIT to hang out.. its going to be a FUN-filled weekend. There's plenty to look at in the A.. especially with it being hot out. We'll have to make an impromptu trip to buckhead. ;)

STOKED!

SO confused.

What's the male way if we have no penises?

Um, being on top of something (like a pillow) and humping it...

Or wanking a dildo as if it's yours...

well technicly you do  clitorus literally means "little penius". its made from the same thing as the head of the penus. this is why it is so sensitive. i didnt mean it as in thats the guy way, cause it works for any woman, but i just wanted to point out that women have a penius. its just not developed.

I found this topic quite interesting.

Umm...how do I say this. <_< I do it in the "female way". The thought of doing it in the "male way" makes me squirm. Like skyy mentioned, a lot of times it feels like I’m releasing energy just for the sake of releasing it. Also I despise dealing with the "mess" afterwards. The greater the mess, the more I feel worse :(

But if the mess is minimal, I feel somewhat satisfied :)

Imagination can go a long way.

i always did it the male way without giving it a thought. it just never worked the female way...i could never get any results

I know what you mean. I just naturally started doing it the female way. When I learned what the male way was, Ugg..It just seems so unnatural to me that I dread to even try it. I can't say I'm happy with the results I get considering how my body reacts, but it works.

This topic is pretty interesting.

I never thought of it before, but I do it the male way too.

It would be interesting to see if everyone's preferred way trends the way it's going.

I made it through without smiling and laughing too, but then I'm too serious sometimes anyway.

Again, just my two cents (give or take inflation)

I'm a little confused by this...

bioguys don't usually self gratification by humping a pillow :/

so when you're saying the guy way, you just mean in such a way that you don't penetrate or really make direct contact with your hands to your sex organs?

I can't get off at ALL touching myself...since I was super little I'd hump pillows and stuff. I stopped a few years ago because it just seemed weird. :/

Some do. ;)

No, it's not so much the humping but imagining you're on top actually penetrating a girl as you do it.

Some anxiety is building up inside.

Suppressing your emotions because you’re afraid of them can be bad for your physical and mental health. Here’s what to do instead. When a toddler feels a “big” emotion, like anger or sadness, they tend to have a big tantrum on the floor. And these tantrums can be a lot to observe, full of thrashing, screaming, and tears. But a child reacts like this because the emotion they’re feeling is uncomfortable, maybe even painful.   Of course, as adults, we feel emotions too, and those feelings can be just as overwhelming, uncomfortable, or even painful as they were when we were children, even if we don’t let ourselves react in such a big way. But, sometimes, in our attempts to not give in to our emotions, we go too far: we run from them or suppress them — even if that harms us in the long run. Although there are many reasons we might suppress our emotions, one of them is that we are afraid of our emotions. Fear of emotions is called “animotophobia. It is not an official term in the DSM-5-TR. Still, fearing your emotions can have a significant impact on your well-being.

@KaitSo glad you are here. It's never too late to talk to your doctor. bI was 68 before I stopped lying to myself and talked to my doctor. He or she might be able to help. It may be easier to find an endocrinologist you specializes or a health care group who specializes. You might also seek out a therapist who specializes to help with HRT resources. Psychology Today can help find therapists who specialize. Glad you are here. WELCOME.

Good morning, everyone!   Coffee is flowing so my brain is beginning to function.    We've been busy caring for aging family members and trying to get the house open now that the weather is getting warmer. I've been working on getting the pool open and cleaned. It's almost ready for salt and starting up the heater. We may be swimming by next week.   But, it's raining here today so I guess I'll be stuck working inside.   Have a wonderful and safe, day!!

I had that same outcome from my first colonoscopy years ago. It just triggered more frequent colonoscopies for a period of time. Hopefully, that will be the same plan for you.

Biopsies came back mostly clear except one, one polyp came back with abnormal cell growth (pre-cancerous). It was completely removed during the colonoscopy so I don't know yet if further action needs to be taken.

Hey-o. My name's Kait. I haven't decided what to do about my last name yet. (Mononyms sound cool, but they're very problematic unfortunately).   I guess pronouns are important. They/them or it/its (strong preference for 'it/its').    Im not someone who's been active in the community for a long time, but I've known I was trans almost my whole life. It's just that financial, medical, and psychiatric struggles have kept it from the forefront of my priorities for 10 years or so. So basically during that entire time, I've been living as an AMAB, masculine-presenting person named kait. Which is not ideal, but I've been able to deal with it by dissociating from my body and viewing it as an appendage rather than as a 'self'.    Mostly I'm on here because I finally feel well enough mentally and physically to think about beginning HRT. Problem is, I really don't know where to start out what to do. I have an endocrinologist I see for an unrelated health issue, but honestly I don't have a very strong relationship with him. Is it best to start with my existing doctor? Or should I find an endocrinologist that specialises in this sub-field? What's the best available tech? Is 29 too late to be taken seriously about this by my doctor? I have no idea about these questions and so much more and I need help.   Side from trans stuff though, I'm the boringest person you'll probably ever know. I have a pretty rich inner life and a wonderful partner, but really all I do is work, sleep, and occasionally build tiny models.

I agree that porn is a really bad thing.  Bad in general, but probably gives a misleading view of trans folks.  If you don't see trans folks out in the wild, but you see plenty of them online, that is going to give the impression that it is primarily sex-driven, and that trans folks are interested in sex with just about everybody all the time.  Similar to what people often assume about being bisexual.    I'm androgynous, so sometimes people look at me this way.  Especially if my husband and I are together (if they don't assume I'm his kid) people get that "judgy" look on their faces.  You can sort of read their minds.  I even heard on lady say something like, "Oh, that's just so wrong" when we came out of a shower at a truck stop.  I mean, I like sex and we have a great connection in that way, but its not "THE REASON" for our relationship.
