Am I Too Old For Hrt To Affect My Face?

I don't know if this is the right forum for this or not, but here it goes.

I am currently 17, haven't been to a gender therapist yet. And I am terrified that I am too old and I will have a 'mannish' face even after HRT.

When I saw the title of this topic i was expecting it to be someone between 40 and 60!

HRT puts a female fat layer under your skin which softens and rounds your face. Also most males don't really finish puberty and developing more masculine bone structure in the face and all till their 20s -some as late as 25. In fact many Drs won't even prescribe HRT before age 18, although that seems to be improving as knowledge slowly spreads about what TS really is. So you are not coming laye to the party at all and should do fine.

As Julie said, HRT can give you a female face at any age but starting as young as you are will really optimize things.

The other ladies are absolutely right, Megan. At 17, HRT will do wonders.

No, 17 isn't too old for HRT to affect your face. The younger you start the better and 17 is a very good age to start HRT at.
